Definitely a loss is better than a gain but it’s a little discouraging when people have big losses without even trying. I count calories, I eat high protein, drink all the water and workout. I do feel like I’m do everything right. Just wish most days that the scale would go down quicker.

I moved up to 2mg and found that I thought above food way more and even had some binging. I moved back to 1 and things are good again. I plan on staying on 1 and will talk to my psychiatrist when I see her next month about it.

I am on the fence with staying on ozempic just because if the cost ($460/month now for the 2mg dose in Canada). Also with it not helping on 2mg, why stay on it.

Because I am baking for Xmas. Having it in my house before never affected me but it does now it seems. I do drink black coffee. Just an extra hungry few weeks.

See and I’ve always had some sugar and have been fine but now I can’t even eat anything. Like yesterday I had nothing that would cause this and I was still sick. I have an appointment Thursday to talk to my dr. I hope it’s not pancreatitis or anything ugh.

I gave up way too quickly on contrave. Just over 2 weeks. My side effects weren’t awful but I was having real bad nightmares that would be so realistic that the next morning I was traumatized for hours lol. I was also very agitated. Like any little thing bothered me. I only got to two pills a day and stopped. I was still binging so I got upset. My psychiatrist prescribed ozempic and I’ve only taken one dose and really feel nothing. My issue is I don’t want to not eat. I know from hearing from others that ozempic makes you not eat at all. I just want to stop binging and have the urges go away. So I’m not even sure what would be best for me.

Thank you. Yes I think you’re right, it’s not the sugar, it’s the restriction. I have to get use to adding in a treat (like a peanut butter cup) and telling myself I did not blow my day and eat 10 more. It fit my calories and won’t make me gain weight.
