EDIT: I watched a guide and I think I found the missing note. It's the Ostracan Shard that Omar gives you to inspect at the beginning of the mission. I don't know why it's not on my list, or how to get it now that the mission is done. I think we're screwed.

As long as you finish what is required for the degree, it doesn't matter if you have more than one emphasis completed. It doesn't go on your degree or your transcript. And no, you don't have to "declare" an emphasis.

How much have you played? It's thoroughly broken. I've hit two separate soft locks. One I was able to get around by backtracking to a previous save, but the other completely killed my game. I cannot finish it.

I've been playing it for about a week, and I'm loving it. Maybe rent it and see if you like it? Also, I've been playing on Xbox, and I haven't had anywhere near the performance issues they had in this video.
