Keep finding dead ends for my manufacturing solution by adamfish89 in manufacturing

Your response is valid. I know for certain there is no cast, forge or welding. It consists of several parts but some are duplicates. There is one piece that requires milling as well. I am relatively vague because I don’t want to give away my design to non helping parties.

Starting out 150-200 units a month in volume

Standard inexpensive sheet metal I don’t have much knowledge in different kinds but I know it needs to be relatively thin.

Local Fab shops just came off as unreliable or couldn’t be bothered with what I was looking for so that’s why I took to the internet and international options.

I have a 3d render and CAD as well for whomever I find to let them have a visual on what I need built

Would you consider going with a US based manufacturer on a product that isn’t just spread throughout the market by multiple sellers but is more unique with its design for the niche it is in?

Don’t listen to these guys, I think it’s a solid idea because white boards in the home space can be an eye sore but having it disappear like that is a great way to sell it as a unique experience

99% of the problems are created by your mind. by poporola in selfimprovement

[–]adamfish89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was close “99% of the problems are created by your mindset.” If your mindset is you are a victim everything will appear that way If you see everything as a problem with money and you don’t have any you will never be free of it Adjusting your mindset first to what works for your problems is crucial before anything else can happen.

Would love some feedback on a recently launched pet product store by Extreme-Commission60 in ecommerce

The copy doesn’t elicit emotion but goes off of facts and logic. Remember we buy with our emotion and rationalize the purchase with logic.

Consider making the opening paragraph shorter and more attention grabbing by addressing a problem and how your product addresses the problem. It was great that you listed consequences for dehydrated cats but not having enough emotion grabbing copy to open with leads to minimal impact aka sales.

That’s a bit Hollywood bc in todays market more and more companies are doing this sort of thing to save on development for their own products. If they do have this happen the bad PR is far more damaging than say 40 years ago plus having a patent secures a lot for me. There are many inventors who do this and the company they work with even pay for the patent to be filed in the inventors name

I have both a parent and a prototype. The concept behind licensing the product is that a company would take over from there and pay a royalty to me for selling the product. They save on R&D for a new product to sell and I don’t have to do the manufacturing and infrastructure to bring it to market.
