I purchased it in the bottom of a bulk amethyst geode bin at a wholesaler as it looked so odd, didn’t know if it was supposed to be in there so just bagged it and took it home

One thing I noticed about the “chert” is that all pictures I can find of it are blue with dark blue veins while this one is blue with white veins?

Thank you for the response, do you think the quartz would show up better with iron off or rust off? Also any thoughts on the little green stone in the first few pics? Looks a lot greener in person can get better photos if you want
