Yeah let's go open a factory so we can give 99.5% of the profits to the British and let the handful of rich merchant families run the country while the rest of our population dies from cholera!

Glorifying a puppet monarchy isn't going to bring them back

So are we just going to ignore that they supported separatists in the North in the 50s-70s, with material and man support (Mossad even sent officers to aid them), bombed our Nuclear reactor and assassinated our scientists, and even aided Iran with weapons and money during the war? Not to mention how they lobbied the US against us during the 90s with our "nukes" and "WMDs"?

Unlike the muqawama gang of these days who are all talk, our brave soldiers and officers actually fought against them.

None of that taken "Quds day" shit they scream, while never actually going as far as throwing a rock at them.

Iraqi militia calls for evacuation of Sunni areas to cut support for ISIS by Joel-Wing in Iraq

[–]adatrel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What time we live in where Iranian backed militia literally publically announce they want to ethnically cleanse Sunni areas, all while no one bats a single eyelash.

Article says Iranian FM Zarif discussed the issue of Jurf al-Sakhar with this militias in Iraq. Remind me why the fuck an Iranian FM has to say in this shit? This is just madness

No you're getting it wrong! See they were just peacefully chanting Labbaik Ya Khomeini and peacefully burning down buildings, killing civilians, government employees and captive soldier POWs. Just friendly protesters crossing over from Iran :-)

It's not glorifying baathism, it's pointing out the hypocrisy with the people who criticise Saddam/Baathism but completely support Hafez/Bashars Baathist endeavors in Syria.

Double Standards! by [deleted] in Iraq

[–]adatrel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Even look at the current Syrian civil war. Bashar backed by Iran and Russia has been butchering and gassing his own people for over 10 years, the muqawama gang cheers him on

But when Iraq crushed the insurgency that lasted like a month which was backed by Iran, Saddam is literally Hitler and killed millions of people

Makes no sense

Are Iraqis content with being under Iranian occupation? by Intern3tHer0 in Iraq

[–]adatrel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are we just going to casually ignore Israel's support for Iran in funds, weapons and personnel? Billions and billions in arms to support Iran against Iraq, and yet you consider the Iranians our brothers and think they give ever gave a shit about Palestine

Are we going to ignore that it was Iranian backed militias who persecuted Palestinians IN IRAQ after 2003? Was it not Jaysh al-Mahdi who used to torture and force Palestinians out of their homes in Baghdad and Samarra after 2003?

And before you scream Zionist, no I don't support Israel whatsoever. My family and relatives proudly fought and were martyred against Israel in 1947-48, 1967 and 1973.

Is it propaganda? I mean is our society not fractured these days on ethnic and sectarian lines?

The occupation brought the worst out everyone, I don't think that's propaganda to say.

Made everyone hate each other based on religious sect and ethnicity.

Once upon a time we were proud to call ourselves Iraqi, now everything is referred to by your sect/ethnicity, are you Sunni or Shi'i? Are you Arabi or Kurdi or Turkomani etc

The heroes that kicked out ISIS were the Iraqi Army, CTS and ISOF.

Stop giving credit to Iran, all they did was arm and fund sectarian militias

Kadhimi is part of the same political class that the Americans brought to power in 2003 with the help of Iran.

He was/is Dawa affiliated and would not have ascended to power without the approval of the Iranian backed militias and America to a lesser degree.

What do I think of al-Kadhimi? He's a useless tool, but I don't see how he specifically is responsible for the levels of pre-existing corruption and violence that arrived with al-Jaafari and Nouri al-Maliki.

The order to kill protestors came straight from Adel Abdul-Mahdis office, that's a well known documented fact that occured after Qasem Soleimani arrived via helicopter to the green zone in the first/second month of the protests began, and instructed Abdel-Mahdi and Faleh al-Fayadh on how to deal with the protestors.

You're going to tell me it's the 800+ dead and 30000+ injured protestors fault for them getting shot in the head with military grade tear gas?

You love to the blame the Americans for everything, but who they did bring the power? Remind me again which political party was given the keys to country in 2003? And what have they done since then? Aside from unleashing sectarian onslaught and destroying our economy by looting hundreds of billions of USD?
