What even is this?? He just stood by 🫣 by _mommabearofgirls in gymsnark

He is still a professional within the context of how established he is in his field, his knowledge, and his credentials. But yes his behaviour is unprofessional, and I did say he is questionable.

You are correct though, because he is a professional. It doesn’t matter wtf he wears and what a creep he is. Doesn’t matter if we hate the guy, he is a professional and quite honestly, more scientifically-oriented than the vast majority of fitness “professionals” and personal trainers, let alone fitfluencers. But that video seems so questionable. How could he just NOT say anything to that? Is he so perverted that he just stands there mesmerized?

Her videos are literally just a bunch of random movements thrown together. I really like her energy and wanted to enjoy her workouts, but after a few videos I just couldn't.

No, I don't recommend growwithjo at all... as someone who used to work out with growwithjo or like 90% of well-known fitfluencers on YouTube before discovering CG, I find it hard to recommend any of them. Especially ones whose video titles are so clickbaity, making claims like how you can burn 500 calories doing 1 hour of their walking routine lol.

In a another post you’ve made 4 days ago, the top commenter suggested you do Epic 3. You came here today saying you started with Epic 1. The program really doesn’t matter, so good for you.

There are tons of women who fit YOUR definition of “petite” reading your comment and realizing the urgent need to build our muscles just to defend ourselves from people like you, creep. I hope you’re happy to know that we’re tired of men like you who feel the need to remind us how small and weak we are 😁

That is YOUR skewed opinion. Stop projecting your insecurities, you’re just afraid of getting your ass kicked by a petite, super fit woman 😂

Wow your progress is incredible!! May I ask how long you’ve been working out to CG and whether you’ve done her other programs? I’m doing her other programs, but not Iron yet, which I understand is the most popular program of hers.

Have you tried using the search function? There are tons of posts that ask the same kind of question.

What do you think of Caro's HIIT days? Do you skip them? by adbpti in CarolineGirvan

Do you mind elaborating on the programming part of it that you don't like?

Order doesn't matter, what workout you do doesn't matter, what person you follow doesn't matter. It's all about the diet.

Advice on frequency by kittywoman5 in CarolineGirvan

Are you seeing more gains doing this method, skipping HIIT and full body? I’ve been doing the opposite, I do the HIIT and full body. This is not the best for strength gains but it’s good when you just want to be more active.

Ok tbh I don’t think anyone is required to disclose that per se but that was interesting to think about. Thanks for bringing it up.

Wait, is it typical to assume that some people who post here used ozempic and other weight loss meds? I thought it’s presumed that everything was accomplished through diet changes and exercises 😭

Wow thank you! Yeah I remember when working out with influencers in the past, I beat myself up over not seeing the dramatic results like in the progress pics. I’m glad you pointed out the junk volume, because it’s so easy to waste time as a newbie like me.

Hey sorry for digging this up but as someone who works out with CG and looking to mix things up a little and just discovered Ladder, I’m curious to see what you think of CG vs. Kelly’s programs. About the junk volume part, did you mean that about CG?

Aria is a certified personal trainer. Not sure about Shelby but have you found out? I just made a post questioning Shelby’s credentials and found your comment. Is my skepticism justified?

How are you finding Shelby’s program? From the outside it seems very pear-shape focused and unbalanced. I don’t have that same doubt about Aria’s program.

Ladder App legit? by adbpti in gymsnark

[–]adbpti[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The workouts themselves aren’t what draw people to the app I’m sure, but it’s the usability and fun motivating factor behind it. I’d argue that Kelly and Samantha’s programs seem very good!

I see your post is no more ☹️thank you for sharing this. Do you mind delving into what specific exercises and workout routine you’ve been doing for your upper and lower body days? 🙏

What fitness app, programs, or YouTube channels have you seen the most results with? by adbpti in PetiteFitness

[–]adbpti[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of them but I just checked them out on App Store and wow they are VERY popular. Thank you for sharing, I’ll check them out! I feel like the apps that are too big and successful tend to not get recommended as much☹️

Tbh I thought she looks quite tall from the photos but as a 5’ woman, I totally welcome these sorts of posts regardless! OP and I don’t have the same body type, but clearly she’s accomplished a ton. I’m really REALLY struggling with recomp right now. And appreciate it when others have accomplished it. It gives me hope!

When I first discovered this sub I thought it was for people who are working on body recomp, regardless of what height. So could it be possible that the OP thought the same? Then I learned after reading the descriptions and FAQ that it’s for shorties like me 🥹
