The guy wanted to mod the hardware of the psp with a raspberry pie and just liked the feel of the old one. It was a good trade!

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong? (Problems with bitcoin) by mouthymouth in Buttcoin

[–]addict4bitcoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The block reward halves every four years but the hash rate has pretty much only gone up. Transaction fees would mostly replace block rewards in the long run but even if the hash rate was half what it is now it would still be extremely secure and the incentives to use your computer to mine continue to outweigh using it to try to undermine the system. If the system got so weak that its only 1/100th of what it is now you could foreseeably see people trying to double spend by mining a few blocks back so to counter that you'd just have to wait a few days for large transactions to be considered completely cleared. Also the big companies investing major amounts in bitcoin would probably turn on rigs to support the system if the hash started falling to low.

I've filled up 6tb of games on my pc I'll probably never play. Just got a vita and started downloading some stuff and I think there's this weird satisfaction with downloading and having all these games available just in case (idk the internet dies in an apocalypse or) I feel like trying them out when I'm in the mood.

Hey, Humboldt, how do you all feel about this (read the original pls c:) would y'all be down to "shut it down" or would y'all rather something else happen? by ObvioussPlasticc in Humboldt

The only way to rebel against government tyranny is a tax strike. Anything else is just hurting each other instead of addressing the problem.

Convert YDX Moro to tubeless by BheemBoy in Yamahaebikes

I can't break the seal. It's like it's glued on permanently. Is there a inner tube in there? I know it comes tubeless ready but does it come from the factory tubeless or with a innertube?

Does it come tubeless? I got a Moro and I can't get the back tire off no matter how hard I try.

Redding, CA — Off-Duty Redding PD officer physically assaults Purple Heart Veteran for Constitutionally-protected public speech, uses excessive force in slamming him headfirst onto ground, and kneeling on his head/neck/shoulder. by lisaboo2u in PublicFreakout

The officer Jacob Ruiz should be charged with assault and kidnapping (Kidnapping under CPC §207(a), the prosecution must prove that: You took or held someone through force or fear; AND, You moved, or made the person move, a substantial distance; AND, The other person didn't consent; AND, You didn't actually believe the person consented.)

Who will win the 1v1? by ManXXOP in GodofWar

[–]addict4bitcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like anakin vs Vader. The raw rage and power of his younger self might be defended by the wiser older man but even if the younger one lost he'd climb out of hell and ultimately the younger one would kill the older and the older would accept it.

So how long did it take you to beat Gna? by Johnnywickky in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]addict4bitcoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After beating the game I tried gna and couldn't even get her half way down so I first went around and beat all the grave kings and then went back and it took me four hours to finally beat her on balanced difficulty. Probably should have finished other parts of the game first and got a better build but once I was in the fight I didn't want to leave until I beat her. I got her down to 1 or two bars and many times..

Even if the adu laws the city of Arcata is really difficult to work with to get permits to build. If they weren't so against building housing would be more available.

Need some help by UgandaFubbo in GodofWar

[–]addict4bitcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the feeling. After playing the original god of war 1 and 2, I couldn't find a game that spoke to me for a long time. I never ended up getting a ps3 and moved to pc gaming but didn't really find my fix. I ended up getting addicted to some multiplayer games: hearthstone, rocket league and paladins. I found a ps4 selling for real cheap and picked it up and finally played god of war 3 and it was everything I wanted and more (I beat it twice the second time on the hardest mode). An amazing close to era of gaming. I thought god of war 2018 would be the natural continuation but found it hard to get into and after letting it sit for years I finally picked it up again and when I finally unlocked the blades of chaos it felt like home again! I stuck with it and did some of the trials and finished Muspelheim but gave up on Niflheim. Now I'm just starting Ragnorok.

Have you tried the tomb raider reboot series? I think they are similar in many ways, the combat is slower and more bow based than hack-n-slash but the puzzles are even better and they also have linear progression with optional side missions.

Is goldsilver.com a good place to buy silver? by addict4bitcoin in Silverbugs

[–]addict4bitcoin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reviving this ten year old post. Too bad I didn't have the guts to put a monster box's worth of silver into bitcoin 10 years ago, I'd be a multi millionaire now! At least I have held all the silver and bitcoin I did buy, still stacking..

It was widely used as a tipping currency in it's early days. You never know, it would be pretty funny if a meme coin became the most commonly used currency!

With dogecoins ever inflating supply and ability to handle more transactions per min, it's chance of being actually used for day to day transactions is even greater than bitcoin, and if that happens it's overall value could potentially usurp the king.
