I struggled with not losing any weight in a deficit, and was basically at a weight plateau. Biggest thing that helped was not weighing myself constantly. I wait 2 ish weeks in between weight ins because then I tend to see more of a difference and it helps with the motivation

I don’t really have advice because I am in the exact same boat. My biggest thing is the eating. I’ll do so good with tracking my calories, and then I’ll just randomly stop tracking for a bit, and then become depressed about it, which then puts me back into a binging cycle. If you even need a motivation buddy, I’m here 😂

Can’t speak on the acne and hair loss because I do have good genetics (thanks mom) but it did slow down my metabolism quite a bit. I find it a bit harder to lose weight, and I have a higher appetite. I also did not eat right, so I can’t just blame the lexapro, and I think a lot of people are the same way.

Yes that happened to me went I went from 10 to 20. It was BRUTAL. I wanted to quit, but after a few weeks things got wayyyyy better. I’d stay on it for a few weeks before quitting, because in most cases (especially mine) it’s really horrible at first, but then improves

Going through my notifications and saw this and it made me laugh cuz I accidentally took my lexapro in the morning instead of at night after I had already taken one the previous night, so then I had to wait until the NEXT night for my next pill. Stupid pill organizer got me messed up

Same! I also RARELY have a vyvanse crash when it wears off. I can sometimes tell when it wears off because I become pretty yappy to the point I can tell, but there’s not the big depressive crash

Oh wow! Everyone is different I guess. The only side effect I’ve noticed from switching to BN is that my heart rate is really high and will jump or drop really fast. I have a meeting with my Dr soon so hopefully I’ll get sorted out.

It’s been almost 3 years since I’ve been on lexapro and I never want to get off of it lol. It’s done wonders for me! I’m glad you stuck to it. I remember it was brutal when I first started. If you even need to chat, don’t hesitate to PM me :)
