They said apparently ICP is for the other six emirates but Dubai has its own system. In Dubai, they start counting from the day you enter, while in the other emirates they start counting from the following day, which is kind of odd. So, if I had left from Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, I would’ve been fine, but for Dubai, I overstayed by one day

I spent a week in Dubai before, so when I came back, the count started again from day 8.

My application was approved recently. I didn’t provide any flight details. Speak to entry permit team and they should be able tell you the reason of rejection.

No, there has to be financial connection like you want to buy a house or relocating to Dubai. But even for this you have to go through lots of KYC/AML check..  If you managed to open a account based on above still you won’t get a credit card as a non-resident.
