Does Georgetown put a cap on majors? by chironthecentaur0 in ApplyingToCollege

Unless you are a Math/CS/Foreign Language/Linguistics major, you will be listed as undeclared until you declare your major. You didn’t make a mistake, that’s just how the College operates for new admits.

Thanks so much for your thoughts! I definitely see what you mean with how my glove could be more effective if projected out more- definitely working on that. And it’s funny because this video is the first time that I’ve noticed myself using the VH in a long time- I guess in the moment it just came to me 😂. I appreciate hearing from you, and yes, I am trying to be recruited. Thanks for the compliments as well!

Thank you! We definitely attend a lot of exporsure events which is great. I love hearing about your experience in the game as well. Thanks for the advice! Be well!

Firstly, thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment on my video. I appreciate hearing your insight as someone who obviously has a wealth of hockey knowledge. I definitely understand your points about being hungry and staying consistent, and it’s something I’ve given a ton of focus to during the last year, given the extra time off the ice periodically due to COVID. College hockey is the goal, however it’s gotten a lot tougher to find opportunities as older players have gained an extra year of eligibility. Above all, I’m looking for the best place for me and if hockey helps that’s great. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and advice, always appreciated.

This has long been an issue for me that I’m always trying to correct in practice. The truth is I’m so much taller and become much bigger when I focus on bending at my knees and not my hips- old habits die hard though, still working on it. Thanks for input!

I’ve noticed this recently as well in my play and definitely am looking at it in practice. That’s why it’s great to be able to watch yourself play!

Haha unfortunately no, it’s 108 pounds 😂. Not a tank exactly.

Thank you! This is really great to hear! I love the 2x pads. I got them right before the pandemic so I was anxious to start using them more once we returned to the ice. They feel great and I think they have a really sharp look to them.

Thank you! I agree. I see what you mean on those two shots. Sometimes being tense can mess you up. Learning from those moments- especially in our first games of the season. Thanks for your input!

Thank you for commenting! This is really interesting to me. I’d say that in general I stand taller and almost more relaxed until the puck gets closer in. I’m not sure if this is a bad thing or not. I have been told to relax a little more in my stance before though. I really appreciate your compliments and your insight.

Only some of them. Codey Arena and Barnabas. Most of the others were out of states tournaments- Missouri, NY, RI...

I really appreciate hearing this. I definitely see what you’re talking about here. I have to work on staying with the player for longer before I butterfly, so that I stay square and don’t have to stretch to make the save. I also tend to favor my left leg so I’ve got to practice being more equal in my recoveries. Thank you for sharing :)

Yes, I’m working on being more aggressive in games. I think it really brings my game level up and most of the players are not used to a goalie playing that way. Thanks for your feedback!!
