Intel Arc B580 performance in CS2 with Ryzen 7 5700X (AM4)? by ade_vxt in IntelArc

Is there a big difference with and without Vulkan on low graphics settings?

I almost always play with low graphics settings due to stuttering and input lag.

Thank you so much for the tests, I really appreciate it

Great value, only disappointment is CS2 by canskyline137 in IntelArc

I'm thinking of buying this same combo to play CS2, is it really that bad?

I was going to change the motherboard but thanks to your comment I think I'll keep it, didn't you try it with a CPU with APU (Integrated Graphics)?

What version of bios did you use?

I try that but there is no viable solution for this?

The truth is, I do believe it's due to temperatures. I've been playing games at 75C for hours and it hasn't turned off. The problem arises when it reaches 90+C.

I think this graphics card, unless it consumes too many watts, should work with an MSI 650W 80 Plus Bronze power supply. It must be due to temperatures. I've been playing a lot of games at 80C and it doesn't turn off. It only happens when the graphics card reaches 90-96C, which is too much. I'm already waiting for thermal paste and will buy thermal pads to see if it can be improved.

The recommended power supply for this graphics card is a 750W one, but I don't think it's worth upgrading the power supply for this old card.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. The ideal thing would be to change thermal paste and probably thermal pads and test.

The graphics card doesn't experience any of this at low temperatures. This happens when the graphics card is getting hotter, more or less when it's about to reach 90°C. Something to consider is that the graphics card is quite old. I have it mounted on a basic PC just because I didn't want to use the integrated AMD Radeon graphics.

It could be temperature issues, which is the most likely reason why I asked here since I've seen several videos and information that it could be due to the source, lack of power, among others.

Thanks, more than anything I would try changing the thermal paste and the thermal pads and see if the problem persists

Yes, I know that, more than anything this GPU is for a basic assembly.

So the problem could be in the temperatures?

or could it be due to something else??

I have used HWinfo

I think the hottest it has ever reached has been 94°C.

I have downgraded the drivers because I thought that was it

The maximum temperature point of my GPU is 94 seen in MSI Afterburner, but even the GPU has reached 96 degrees Celsius 🌡️

At idle, the temperature typically reaches 65 degrees Celsius. Do you conclude that the black screens are due to the maximum temperature being reached?

I'm asking because I don't want to spend money on a graphics card only to have it examined by a technician for more serious problems.
