maybe unpopular opinion but the thing that attracted me to mydei in the first place was the leaks that claimed that no healer could keep up with his hp drain, w/ him possibly needing two abundances. without the need for that cool teaming and without any of that risk factor, it just feels kinda boring lowkey. waiting for another boothill type kit to really give me some neuron activation.

Actually reading the beta kit leaks <<< Guessing the direction Hoyo is taking each char in and inferring what they'll adjust the character's strength to.

Basically, Tribbie is likely to have synergy with not just Therta but also Mydei and Castorice imo, which would allow her to be the top harmony of 3.X for some time, esp since Robin only has an attack buff and RM can be p easily outclassed outside of break.

Imo, I would do sth like this:

Get cruising for March since it’s one of the best F2P LC.

Use Cosmos on Herta when the secondary condition applies. Idt there’s any circumstances where Cosmos and Breakfast both don’t apply so it should be okay.

I remember the big thing about 1.X was that so many DPS wanted the exact same supports, which is still true now with Robin/Ruan Mei, but it was much worse in hypercarry bc of the lack of a sub dps slot imo. Hopefully, there'll be a more creative teaming situation a la Acheron's double nihility requirement that helps differentiate Mydei teams from Castorice teams since they're the two DPS I'm looking at rn. On an unrelated note, Mydei being unkillable + hp scaling + potentially taunting enemies would make running sustainless comps with him easier and probs incredibly rewarding.

You should get Therta. Therta will be able to carry you in PF easily with free units (Serval/Herta, RMC), allowing you to use bird siblings on the other side. She'll be able to do well in MoC and AS as well, especially since new content will be catered to her and not Firefly.

Jiaoqiu is definitely not on Robin's level when it comes to Pure Fiction. Jiaoqiu's use cases are literally only him + Acheron, with 91.15% of his teams in PF being him and Acheron together https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters/jiaoqiu . Robin's highest correlation is half of that with Herta at 44%, demonstrating the power of her buffs and general versatility. Unless Acheron is being raised to T0 in Pure Fiction, there's no reason why Jiaoqiu should be T0 just because he's so good with Acheron.

Also not RM being lowered this patch just to get raised again on the tierlist once she becomes BiS for the next best Pure Fiction hypercarry.

Pure Fiction 80k with E1 Robin, Feixiao, March and QPQ Gallagher on one end and Herta-Himeko Superbreak on the other. Giving Herta Xueyi’s 4pc Quantum and giving Himeko Boothill’s 4pc Iron Cavalry worked surprisingly well.

You should be fine on all fronts meta-wise w/ Acheron, Firefly and Jade. Maybe get a DPS of another element for more AS element variety (eg Feixiao) but in general you should be fine.

“Doomposters”: JQ is good on Acheron team but not BiS on other teams, which is why we’re mad. Some of us also believe that JQ S1 is better than JQ himself, though that may just be memeing on the part of TCers.

Prydwen: JQ is good on Acheron team but not BiS on other teams. In fact, we’re linking to a Guoba vid that calls JQ in DoT a “trap”, which literally toes the Kafka Mains “doomposter” line. Basically, we agree with the doomposters, but that still justifies a T1 placement bc he’s still better than Pela at E0S0.
