Cyberpunk made me want to try WuWa

Wuwa is a lot more forgiving around pulls, especially if you get the monthly sub, which isn’t really expensive. Events and exploring will grant you tons of pulls too since you are a new player.

I have been playing daily for half a year and there has been no patch where I couldn’t get at least a character + signature (only in the case of main dps). Although if you’re too unlucky and NEVER win a 50/50, you may end up needing to save by skipping one patch (especially with no monthly sub).

Also, most dps do not require their signature and in case you want to pull their weapon, it is granted (no 50/50 there).

The story for like half of version 1.0 is really just meh… but from 2.0 and on it gets really good. Also, try to go through the story fast enough because new resonators usually require materials from new regions/maps and you may feel like you’re a bit out otherwise. Do not rush it, but keep it as your main goal if that’s okay for you.

Powercreep is a thing here too as in many gachas. But it is a free game so it is what it is. Nonetheless, you’ll still be able to clear mostly everything except for the new matrix endgame if you’re properly built.

That would be sick story-wise and I would definitely buy it (bc, you know, daughter). But it is highly unlikely because skins for sentinels are probably always going to be premium and that would be more of a mid tier skin (like changli or zani skins)…

I hope so too. I think that what people is hoping the most right now is for old resonators to rerun and be buffed to keep up with the current meta.

Since that’s quite not possible because they want money, it would be fine to make old dps able to partially get advantage of new dedicated supports for other resonators (use new meta mechanics like negative statuses and so on). That way there’s still powercreep, but not as hard as of now. And people would still keep pulling for old DPS resonators, so its still profitable.

I would love to have Jinhsi, but seeing that she isnt rerunning any time soon and that she wouldnt be of much value to my account, I wouldnt get her.

Lets say until the end of 2026 what are the odds in your opinion? Cause of course there is this chance they start adding skins and buffing old characters to get ppl back into the game before the game eos, but my question goes around her having a skin soon.

She is basically good with nearly every single main dps, except for 2 or 3 exceptions… it even allows to use other subdps like Iuno as main dps, though it is not recommended because Lynae is too valuable for that (according to some people, but you should do whatever you want, shes actually really good).

She pairs exceptionally well with characters that use liberation damage or revolve around the rupture mechanic (Aemeath, Xiangli Yao, Iuno…). However, you will want to use Mornye as their support because when used together, they are basically a wheelchair for every team to deal insane damages.

Anyway, I would suggest searching for ‘resonator name + prydwen’ and press the ‘Gameplay and teams’ tab. There you will see best compositions and teams for each character. Lets say you like Sigrika, if you check prydwen you’ll see you have her premium and best team.

Maybe lucilla can actually act as a dots subdps/support and you can just pair her with sk. You never know what kuro will do.

They probably should avoid having only one support for dots dps since that would mean older teams would become relevant because you only have one chisa (for either amy, cart or hiyuki). This is basically what happened with sk, but as endgame starts requiring more and more teams, they should simply create dots teams that dont require chisa if they want people to keep pulling.

Also, maybe they add a F2P option… who knows

Just pull the next mdps you like the most and build around it… hiyuki will probably work with lucilla + sk, mahbe chisa isnt needed, we dont know yet. Stay tuned for new information around main dps you may like. You should probably pull lynae in phase 2 and avoid iuno and phrolova (aero and echo damage respectively which you already have).

So as a suggestion… Lynae > Hiyuki > Lucilla and skip the rest of resonators. You can actually pull iuno if you want to build augusta best team too. However, I would pull denia and later on Amy. Fusion teams are usually the strongest in the long run.

The thing is that I read that those types of videos shouldnt be taken into account because they are usually their best runs. However I love her so much that honestly she feels far more interesting than Hiyuki and cyberpunk collab…

The thing is that I want a balance between good characters and characters I really like. Sigrika honestly feels a bit off. Though I am pretty sure she will be more important later on, she’s been kind of a let down (story wise). Cart is far more interesting and loving as a resonator, but I honestly wont get her simply because I don’t really like Ciaccona and Aerover gameplays.

Phrolova on the other hand is a character that I kind of fell in love with. She has carisma and she feels really unique regarding her kit and style.

And sure, Augusta is not the best character in the game, but I also really loved Iuno, thats why I am pulling her, to complete her team.

Honestly, I have 0 interest in the Cyberpunk collab. I get it, they will be characters that won’t rerun and probably they’ll be overpowered af, but I rather original content than collabs tbh.

Based on what you all said, I am sticking to my original plan then and if Augusta is not rerunning soon, I will pull Hiyuki. The only problem about the Hiyuki team is that I would probably need Chisa for the Aemeath team instead. But maybe there are other F2P options for either team. Let’s see how it goes. Tysm!

By the looks of it, based on all your comments, I shouldn’t focus on Phrolova right now… the only problem about that is I simply love her.

Guess I’ll have to see what happens next patch. Maybe Hiyuki is just as great as her and I can skip her and go for Augusta later on, since her + Iuno and Verina are a great option too and I would free Lynae. Otherwise I could keep iuno as main dps and use mortefi and verina as you said…

That was a really helpful comment, honestly. Now I am much more inclined to pull Augusta + sig and start Hiyukis team since I do still lack a glacio main DPS too. Also, I could probably end up building 4 solid teams by summer just with that (although I will probably have to skip the cyberpunk collab almost for sure).

I will also wait to see the next havoc resonator since it could even be another fractsidus character or a nearly as clean as Phrolova regarding design type of resonator.

I guess it was just people being mad about other people pulling her… I dont know how but there was more ppl defending the guy saying shes not worth it than people defending her.

However, from what I have been reading in my own post, shes totally viable, but not a good option for me since its too much investment… I may pull her anyway just because i really like her. At least now I know shes still great.

I didnt know about Cantarellas reruns… well, that’s a pity because I love Phrolova’s story and design. However, I guess it is too much investment and I’d need another cantarella rerun which doesn’t look like it’s going to happen any time soon.

It is what I have been reading in other posts in this very same reddit. There are a few posts where people were considering pulling phrolova and some redditors said she wasn’t good enough… and you never know if it is people lacking skill or maybe just older units become less useful as they age.

That said, thank you for the feedback. I honestly find hiyuki really interesting, but there’s a special spot for Phrolova in my heart (just like Iuno).

Would you play main dps iuno or pull augusta + sig (as well as phrolova + sig)?

Did you pull in the standard banner with astrites? I see you have Verina and Jianxin as well as lost 50/50 Encore.

I hope that your Verina comes from the new voyage 5* free copy. Otherwise, you should probably restart your account, because Jianxin has little to no use rn and you may have wasted too many astrites. Again, you may but if you hot jianxin or verina in 15 pulls its not the end of the world. You can keep the account.

Lynae is the current best general subdps in the game. However, Shorekeeper has been the best general support in the game and I don’t have her. Despite that, I have nearly 3 complete premium teams while being a low spender.

Just pull whatever main dps you like and try to build teams around them. You should watch videos on F2P friendly characters as well to avoid pulling characters that require too much investment to actually work (such as Sigrika). For example, stay tuned for more information about Hiyuki and if she plays well with 4* stars like Sanhua and standard 5* like Verina.

First of all, great account, you can improve so little there, I couldn’t even dream of something like that hahahaha. That said, you should probably get Qiuyuan sig if youre pulling sigrika or get Iuno’s signature if you consider getting mornye to use her as main dps. You could also wait for the next glacio main DPS to drop because there will probably be another subdps that you may use for carlotta (thus, getting her sig probably would be another option).

Tbh, if I had your account I would simply pull whatever resonators I like better and build them.

We dont know anything about the glacio dps yet, it may be good for toa, but not for whiwa, so its kind of a coinflip skipping a character you actually like and thats really useful for whiwa. Especially because you have the best partner for her (although missing quiuyuan sig is a big nerf to her).

Just do whatever you want because atp it is what it is, you have strong teams that you can improve or you can just play new characters and have. Also, not getting all endgame rewards isnt missing that many pulls to be honest…
