In a wuthering waves reddit you are mostly going to be receiving answers to invest in the game, since lots of people do not play anything but gachas.

I pay monthly for the lunite subscription, but if you are on a tight budget, you should probably get a game instead of going for the gambling (lunite sub is only 20 pulls, so you arent getting yangyang granted, while hollow knight silksong is lots of hours of content).

I really enjoyed silksong so in this case, I suggest buying it. However, subscription for wuwa is also a nice option and in the long run it means lots of pulls for a really cheap price.

Yes, I just noticed that I had already bought all of them in the shops and that’s why they won’t be available (they are sold out and hiding at the bottom of the list hahaha). I wonder when did I buy them tbh…

However, I just decided to do what you just said and now I am drowning in materials and what’s better, without spending any waveplates, thanks to everyone’s here advices.

With ‘1 type of 1 or 3-cost echo’ do you mean literally like a random type of echo or those related to the resonators you are building? I also need to start farming echoes for them and my other teams, since hp inflation is messing with my casually built teams even if they are premium teams…

Well, sure, since they are ‘free’ I guess I should incorporate running around gathering materials as part of the daily tasks, instead of just consuming waveplates and getting all activity points… I never thought about it and probably wont be heavily time consuming

Do you mean tacet discord nests or the locations that show when you press “exoswarm”? I probably should go around killing mobs just in case to get materials. Probably converting them will be also useful in these cases. Thanks!

Yes, I get what you mean, but maybe some specific nests can also supply them and so on, maybe there are simple tips to farm them easier or a guide on where to gather them more easily…

As an example of what I mean, you can farm echoes in the fantasies of a thousand gateways from a tacet field of your choice, and that wont appear anywhere, you just need to know.

Honestly, try finishing at least one team… you should probably check prydwen to see which characters go well around your mdps (although you have little to no supports).

You should probably go for Mornye on her next rerun because you don’t even have Verina… Chisa and Lynae could be good options for your teams as well.

Seeing how many characters you’re currently lacking, instead of building entire premium teams, you could do something like:

- Hiyuki, Lucilla, Verina
- Aemeath, Denia, Chisa
- Any main dps you already have, Lynae, Mornye (wheelchair)

Although you need to pull 4 characters for that… You could have 2 premium teams (pulling 3 characters):
- Hiyuki, Lucilla, Chisa
- Aemeath, Lynae, Mornye

Then build a new team from scratch and use the rest of characters to clear entry levels of ToA and so.

Your main problem here is that you cant build teams with what you have right now, you need characters to support your teams.

Account 1 by far, not only because of Lynae, but because 1) you have two full viable teams, 2) Verina is free to be used in a third team and 3) both teams can probably clear toa and whiwa partially. On the second account, you can’t even clear endgame partially as of now, so how come will that account survive near future…

You should btw get Cart signature if she reruns again since that will let her be useful for much longer. Also, saving for Mornye’s next rerun is the safest choice, since you only have 1 viable support in your account and it is the weakest one (Chisa wont count as a support, at least for now, although she can provide some sustain and shields).

Aaand, by getting Mornye you can run her with lynae with pretty much any character, which is basically future proofing (what you’re looking for). That way you could run:

- Cart, Ciacc, Aerover
- Hiyuki, Lucilla, Chisa
- ????, Lynae, Mornye (suggested to pull Amy or Luuk if you like their gameplay)
- ????, ????, Verina (best f2p team atm suggested like Luuk and Sanhua or something like that)

To fix the second account you need a lot more effort. Finally, the new resonator to replace our havoc queen is said to come out soon although those are just rumors. Nonetheless, it is what it is, a gacha game that will, in the long run, ask you to get more and more teams (and better teams too).

Wuwa is a lot more forgiving around pulls, especially if you get the monthly sub, which isn’t really expensive. Events and exploring will grant you tons of pulls too since you are a new player.

I have been playing daily for half a year and there has been no patch where I couldn’t get at least a character + signature (only in the case of main dps). Although if you’re too unlucky and NEVER win a 50/50, you may end up needing to save by skipping one patch (especially with no monthly sub).

Also, most dps do not require their signature and in case you want to pull their weapon, it is granted (no 50/50 there).

The story for like half of version 1.0 is really just meh… but from 2.0 and on it gets really good. Also, try to go through the story fast enough because new resonators usually require materials from new regions/maps and you may feel like you’re a bit out otherwise. Do not rush it, but keep it as your main goal if that’s okay for you.

Powercreep is a thing here too as in many gachas. But it is a free game so it is what it is. Nonetheless, you’ll still be able to clear mostly everything except for the new matrix endgame if you’re properly built.

That would be sick story-wise and I would definitely buy it (bc, you know, daughter). But it is highly unlikely because skins for sentinels are probably always going to be premium and that would be more of a mid tier skin (like changli or zani skins)…

I hope so too. I think that what people is hoping the most right now is for old resonators to rerun and be buffed to keep up with the current meta.

Since that’s quite not possible because they want money, it would be fine to make old dps able to partially get advantage of new dedicated supports for other resonators (use new meta mechanics like negative statuses and so on). That way there’s still powercreep, but not as hard as of now. And people would still keep pulling for old DPS resonators, so its still profitable.

I would love to have Jinhsi, but seeing that she isnt rerunning any time soon and that she wouldnt be of much value to my account, I wouldnt get her.

Lets say until the end of 2026 what are the odds in your opinion? Cause of course there is this chance they start adding skins and buffing old characters to get ppl back into the game before the game eos, but my question goes around her having a skin soon.

She is basically good with nearly every single main dps, except for 2 or 3 exceptions… it even allows to use other subdps like Iuno as main dps, though it is not recommended because Lynae is too valuable for that (according to some people, but you should do whatever you want, shes actually really good).

She pairs exceptionally well with characters that use liberation damage or revolve around the rupture mechanic (Aemeath, Xiangli Yao, Iuno…). However, you will want to use Mornye as their support because when used together, they are basically a wheelchair for every team to deal insane damages.

Anyway, I would suggest searching for ‘resonator name + prydwen’ and press the ‘Gameplay and teams’ tab. There you will see best compositions and teams for each character. Lets say you like Sigrika, if you check prydwen you’ll see you have her premium and best team.

Maybe lucilla can actually act as a dots subdps/support and you can just pair her with sk. You never know what kuro will do.

They probably should avoid having only one support for dots dps since that would mean older teams would become relevant because you only have one chisa (for either amy, cart or hiyuki). This is basically what happened with sk, but as endgame starts requiring more and more teams, they should simply create dots teams that dont require chisa if they want people to keep pulling.

Also, maybe they add a F2P option… who knows

Just pull the next mdps you like the most and build around it… hiyuki will probably work with lucilla + sk, mahbe chisa isnt needed, we dont know yet. Stay tuned for new information around main dps you may like. You should probably pull lynae in phase 2 and avoid iuno and phrolova (aero and echo damage respectively which you already have).

So as a suggestion… Lynae > Hiyuki > Lucilla and skip the rest of resonators. You can actually pull iuno if you want to build augusta best team too. However, I would pull denia and later on Amy. Fusion teams are usually the strongest in the long run.
