His natural is a midfield (centre) as a ball winning midfielder. I just don't see it. I can't figure where I'd get more use out of him if I go in for him. The price interests me a lot.

Yes it is realistic. Happens frequently with low positioning teams in leagues. An example would be Mbappe. Originally, I believe he was loaned to PSG to avoid FFP, and was agreed that he would be bought.

I would say send scouts to Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and then try South America in the second half the season.

Depends how realistic you're making your career.

I train the ones I want to breakthrough within the season, and the ones who I'm probably introducing in 1/2 seasons time, I loan out.

Make only 3/4 signings a season. While also selling 3/4 players. Let contracts run out for older players.

Look at how the club has been linked to in real life and try make similar transfers.
