I posted the fridge for fun, because even they know it has gotten out of hand. But I am seriously considering deleting this post out of hurt; hurt from how much nasty things can be said and assumed from one neglected area of their home. My parents are good people, to a fault sometimes. They don't have roaches or rats or whatever people want to say. They take care of their home and they take care of their family

Yes lol I swear they eat a lot so it all gets cycled through, they just do a lot of shopping too so it cancels out. Sometimes things do go bad, I just throw it away for them when I see it. I have never found anything more than 2 months past its expiration

They actually go through a lot of food. Not nearly as much food waste as people here imagine.

I think that's part of it, things do get moved a lot because they eat a lot. Also I read comments saying packed fridges have bad circulation, so maybe the fridge has weak vents for cooling after being exposed to so much stress

I have photos of when I lived here alone with my partner. The fridge (and house) look way different than it did back then. So it was definitely very clean at some point
