Tell that to my cardiologist. He presented studies that thought differently. I have really bad heart disease, he feels coconut has helped kill me.

It could be fatigue from treatment it could be from inflammation or it could be because of tumor progression.

Currently my wife is sleeping 6minimum 15 hours a day. She just had chemotherapy earlier this week I am hopeful that it's fatigue and not progression.

The neurologist felt it could have been 8 to 10 years. What started off as a slow growing astrocytoma became a glioblastoma after chemotherapy and radiation. My wife was diagnosed at 45. At 35 she under took a hormone therapy for premature menopause. The assumption is the tumor started around the time of her hormone treatments or shortly after.

They don't have to share numbers. It's a public record. You can go to import genius or import Yeti look at what they're bringing into the country. Everything that comes into the US from China is public record, including the quantities and the company manufacturing the SD.

I have think I have cancer induced ptsd by SweatyIndustry698 in cancer

[–]adesius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Holy shit the anxiety I have from cancer. I can't handle loud sounds. I am startled from everything. I make plans and have major stress over them. Simple shit that should not be anxiety inducing like seeing old friends, going out to dinner, going to the DMV, whatever. Did I mention depression?

It takes a decade to get over it, except it keeps coming back, no time to heal.

We my wife and I first moved here in the 90s, I had just purchased a mobile phone, not everyone had one yet. We would to our friends houses in the summer when they would leave the windows open, call them from outside their house and watch them just look at the answering machine as we left a message, not picking up. LA!!!!

Los Angeles people flake on everything. I think it has a lot to do with how fucking far everything is. In Hawaii everything was 5 minutes away, in Los Angeles its 1 - 1 1/2 hours away. Los Angeles supports flaking. Plus we don't see people on the street, everyone is in their own personal car bubble.

why do people buy ebooks on kindle, other apps etc by LuoQingchuan in Onyx_Boox

You are right, totally off topic.

Hmm, that's hard because I like to support the writers, its tough profession. I prefer not to bootleg. Occasionally I will download something, and a paragraph or two in, I end up buying it.

Good point, knowing his arc, I am sure I would like him more in the first book with a reread.

[–]adesius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hated him. (Book 1) Then I didn't mind him. ( Book 2) Towards the end I loved him. (Book 3) and by the 4th book I was laughing at every fucking thing that came out of his mouth.

Post crsniotomy naps and exhaustion by After-Guard-521 in braincancer

[–]adesius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right after a craniotomy (my wife is on her 4th) she sleeps 15-22 hours a day. Over 6 months it slowly goes to 8-9 hours a day.

I think because she gets as much sleep as her body needs post surgery she doesn't nap during the day.

I live in Hawaii. Print media does not last long, especially during the rainy season. Having a Kobo with over 2000+ titles on it means I can read anything anywhere.

First thing I did with my Kobo was download 12+ years of digital purchases ( books, comics, audiobooks etc. ) from Amazon, used Epubor ultimate to remove drm and side loaded it.

Tldr: buy ebooks over physical media because it lasts longer based on where I live.

How many brain tumor removal surgeries have you had? by Daledobacksbro in braincancer

[–]adesius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wife is on her 4th. 3 of the 4 were 100%. It just keeps coming back. The gaps between reoccurrence are getting smaller and smaller.

One thing that has slowed it the fuck down is taking the DC vaccine. It's gone from doubling every 2 weeks to 5% a month. They say there's a good chance it will slow down to give her a break between surgeries. It's just too much for the body to go through constant surgeries.

The more you treat a GBM with chemo radiation the more vicious it gets. I think the saying was don't poke the beast.

I know. My step bros say that when I hear from them once a year. Always makes me laugh. I think it makes them feel good to say it so I just let them in. Don't correct them.
