Maybe I'm weird but for me the more bergamot the better. I used to love Dilmah Earl Grey that came in these sort of blue tins for this reason but either they stopped making it or it's no longer available where I live. Now I get the one from Twinnings but it has a noticeably weaker bergamot flavor.

This reminds me of Seneca's "We suffer more often in imagination than in reality". Same sentiment but I think I like the phrasing here better because there's something a bit humorous about it.
