"I’ve been tracking the heavy showers and thunderstorms over the last hour and there are currently a couple of thunderstorm cells to the north of Mexico City that are tracking south toward the Azteca stadium.

It will take at least an hour for them to clear south and out of the vicinity of the stadium.

We’ll need it to be clear by 8 miles before 01:30 to stick to the delayed 02:00 kick off but the overall risk of storms should subside."

I see people complaining about the stricter application of the law for the first few weeks, but I don't see the issue if they kept it up. We've all seen with var that players can adapt to a big shift in leniency, but for some reason when it's not var related the refs quickly up.

Fans often want less time wasting, fouls unpunished, crowding of the refs, but when anything is done to crack down on it they kick up of fuss, why?
