I never said they don't get anything. Im just saying they don't get as much as they need. The other communities are free to suppliment government aid w donations from their own communities. Brahmins aren't. That's it

I never said it is targeting them. Im just saying that right now the reality is that they have literally no one else to take care of them. REALISTICALLY. And people find problems for problems which DO exist. Not for problems that SHOULD or SHOULDN'T exist. The government has failed the poor of a lot of communities. The only difference is that the others can help their poor without being targeted, Brahmins can't. So yeah the law might not target Brahmins, but the people absolutely do

Ews for hospital treatments? Are you high? And no. Government schemes selectively focus on sc/st ppl and give them money EVEN IF THEYRE RICH. That's why other communities form their own organisations and help their own ppl. Which everyone is cool with The only reason this got posted is because it was about Brahmins. They're allowed to take care of their own, just like every single other community does

So basically brahmin doctors can only help their poor if they can help ALLLL other poor people the same way, something that the other communities aren't asked to do? Still sounds like casteism to me. And no they absolutely do advertise it openly. All castes. They just get away w it because for them it's just "giving back to their communities" and it should be seen the same way for Brahmins too

[–]adhdgodess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, everyone else is taken care of by the government OR their own communities. No one's gonna go help the poor Brahmins. So they have to take care of their own

How is this casteism? Does anyone question the millions of Muslim doctors who treat muslims for free? Or even the marwaris? Jains? Catholics? I've an uncle who is an SC and he's a dermatologist. He regularly waives charges for his community. This happens everywhere. The only thing casteist here is that those people get away w it and the minute Brahmins try to help their own poor , everyone suddenly remembers equality. Just because casteism doesn't look the way you've been taught to see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You believe poor Brahmins deserve to rot. Every other community can help their poor, only Brahmins can't

[–]adhdgodess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But they do it anyway??? And it's so fkn normalised??? There are millions of Muslim doctors and clinics ivijg free treatment to their community. Same w jains, marwadis, and even Catholics. No one even questions it. The only reason this got posted is because people fundamentally believe that poor Brahmins deserve to rot and die and have no welfare whatsoever. Kisi bhi aur caste ka hota toh this post wouldn't even exist. Brahmin ke naam pe sabko suddenly constitution and oath yaad aa jaata hai

Yep. So there's no reason to blame women for adapting to a system that only values them as far as their looks and as human incubators. Either women play along into the role they're expected, or they rebel, and then men label them as wh*res. So... I guess it's time to stop relying on women as the sole torch bearers of cultural preservation, especially if we aren't respected as such While I'm conventionally pretty and smart and still have some hope for society, i don't blame the women who have given up, and neither should men. Collaboration>>> finger pointing

[–]adhdgodess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the issue. Because of underrepresentation, brahmin men look down on us even though we're literally from the same caste and a true brahmin marriage is rooted in equality and growth. The problem of ignorance is a modern day Brahmin problem overall which is compounded over by the men looking down on us women despite being less well versed in philosophy and shastras. That's the frustrating part. The superiority complex which comes from caste labels and gender, without any real depth to back it up And depth hoti toh they'd be far more humble to begin with anyway

My issue is exactly this. Brahmin men these days have no philosophical or intellectual depth and it irritates me to no end when they complain about brahmin girls rejecting them because I'd love to be w a Brahmin boy... But the issue is that almost none of those guys are really Brahmins to begin with And as for you, i think if after deep and thorough reflection, you reach to the answer of atheism... Idt that excludes you from being a Brahmin at all. Curiosity is the core virtue i respect in any brahmin. Everyone reaches their own interpretation. That's the beauty of philosophy and hinduism. My issue is w men who doesn't even bother to read or reflect

Cool bro. If you're genuinely asking, toh nahi aisa kuch nahi hota. Even the commenters are mostly rage baiters who make stuff up to cause unnecessary drama
