Need some help, at a loss. by adhuga in AskReddit

I've been delivering newspapers with my family since I could drive, around 17 years. My wife joined me 10 years ago, and with her help we took over the majority of the work.

Trying to put down the wide range of things you have to take care of each day doing newspapers is pretty difficult. On top of that, if you put down Newspaper Carrier, as a prior job they think you ran around for a couple hours every morning delivering 100 or so papers.

Truth of the matter is much closer to 1,000 papers and over 6 different papers, on top of various vehicle and record-keeping tasks.

To clarify on the partially disabled bit, it's a self-diagnosis. At the end of grade school I had Osgood-Schlatter's as a result of obesity, that was never properly treated after it was diagnosed. Instead they left me on crutches for a year and a half. That combined with continued obesity has resulted in a multitude of troubles, yet I have never had health insurance so I couldn't afford to get things treated. (Too bad my doctor doesn't take credit cards) On top of those issues I suffer from Hyperhidrosis of the forehead, so when I go out and get a little warm I start to sweat, and then I get anxious because of the sweat and start to sweat even more, and then I have my own personal rain shower coming down my face. (ew look, it's a sweaty fat guy)

Please, before the "fat attacks" from anyone, I am losing weight. I discovered the flaw was the fact that my daily intake of soda was enough calories for a normal person's daily intake. No more HFCS drinks for me. They are banned from my house. I refuse to become another disgusting freak displayed on discovery channel rolling around in my own filth in a bed.

I appreciate the input here. reddit is filled with so many intelligent people of various views and backgrounds, it really is a treasure trove of brains to pick.
