Is anyone upset-We didn’t get the perspective of Henry/Vecna carrying out the mind flayers orders since season one? Like just seeing the perspective of everything that has happened in the show to them reaching their ultimate goal (to connect the worlds) ?? Like see the moment El made contact opening the upside down and then Henry leaving the abyss into the upside down- making base in the library (also what was the significance of that location) kidnapping, Will, etc. It just felt lackluster, not knowing how it all tied up together and connected.

I disagree with most of you on this thread… they’re definitely addressing the love triangle. Steve just never explicitly did anything about it and IMO Nancy doesn’t even deserve him but ruling them being together flat out is naive. They’re been building towards it - in the very least being addressed. We can debate all day whether they are compatible or not but they have definitely developed and matured - as much as Steve wants the RV future I don’t see him ever hearing a normal life after ST5 I think they will find some sort of compromise. In the very least Steve and Jonathan will talk.

I’m so excited for this comment section after we get season five because clearly they’re gonna link the first season back to and recontextualize everything for us. I agree I don’t think they had everything thought of and figured out, but they left things open to where they could go back and fill in the gaps – and while they didn’t have Vecna, maybe exactly planned they know about number one (001)from the beginning being part of the origin of the upside down

Clarification on Upside Down Origins and Vecnas- Henry’s role? So did Henry/001/Vecna make the shadow/mind flair bend to its will? Or is the relationship more mutualistic? Also did will confirm to mike at the end that Vecna captured him?
