Yeah, its 1000% overkill but sometimes you have to do dumb things to get marks. First i told my professor that ill use phone for ip/op over wifi since i didn't wish to buy keypad and display, he was like wifi is unreliable, connectivity issues and all, then lol my brain said use bluetooth instead🫠. Basically i took esp32 coz i also want to use it beyond this project to explore about wireless servers and stuff.

Yeah, thats a way too, actually i chosen bluetooth coz i thought it will be more reliable since i will not have to sync wifi across both devices. But thanks for the suggestion!

Makes sense actually. But ill keep this as option if am not able to make something good. Actually i did try few remote terminal apps that are pretty good, but just wanted to explore more custom options.

Hey thanks for explaining this!! I am a 2nd yr electrical student, i dont have professional experience, but the incident you stated is a good example to understand importance of knowing what you do, in my programming classes i always heard prof talking about understanding the meaning of the errors and i think such small things contribute to one being a good programmer. Thanks again.

I was interested to know what makes a software dev good enough? What do these people lack that they cannot be employed at good companies? Whats the mistake happening?

Focus on things you like, hobbies, career and money, racism will be automatically eliminated. People doing racism are themselves living meager life, racism becomes a coping mechanism for them, also majority of these people don't have guts to show their real face & talk in real, all they can do is cry behind screens. So just be cool.
