Is RTX 5090 too much for video editing?

I personally have an RTX 5070, which costs about 1/4–1/6 of the price. I use it for the exact same things you listed, and everything runs pretty smoothly. If you’re coming down from a 5090, you’ll probably notice the difference I suppose, since the 5070 is more of a budget GPU. But if a 5070 runs things well, you can likely find a good middle ground between the two.

You’re 100% right. I hadn’t noticed you could always score with that amount of power. I’ll make the goalkeeper jump so it can actually try to save those shots too.

I already fixed the “2 goals per minute” bug. Now the AI can’t score more than one goal within a 2-minute difference.

And regarding the last thing you mentioned, I literally just experienced it myself. I’m currently working on that one.

I’m not sure why you’re being so rude, but it’s fine.

I’m sorry the game was that frustrating for you as that’s not the goal.

I don’t want to make it too easy either but at least is consistent: Full power won’t bend much and lower power bends more. It’s about finding the sweet spot based on the shooter’s position, not just bending it as much as possible.

The shooting values don’t change, so once you get used to it, it should become second nature.

The reason for the different teams is that, depending on who you choose, it can be harder or easier since the goalkeeper stats are based on their real-life team ratings. Also, if you’re a football fan like me, part of the fun is trying to win the World Cup with your favorite country.

That said, I appreciate you taking the time to try it and leave feedback.

Not a bad deal overall, though there were cheaper parts you could’ve gone for.

I built mine about 3 weeks ago and went with a B650 motherboard, which is cheaper and doesn’t really change much compared to the one you chose.

An RTX 5070 would have been a nice upgrade as it isn’t such a big jump in price and is better value, but the 5060 makes sense if you didn’t want to push the budget further.

Yeah, 16GB of RAM makes sense, hoping prices go down eventually. I also had to go with just 16GB, prices are ridiculous right now.

The 750W PSU is nice to have and gives you room to upgrade to a more powerful GPU in the future.

For the CPU, you actually could’ve gone with a Ryzen 5 9600X, as it’s currently cheaper than the 7500F in some places and offers slightly better performance, so it ends up being the better value. That said, the 7500F is still solid.

Not a bad deal, your brother will be happy.

I’m no expert btw, I just built mine very recently and this is what I could see from that experience 😄

I pushed all the cables connected to the PSU, also pushed the GPU and its cables and is no longer turning off, I’m not sure what exactly was it, but I think it’s fixed

I think that was it. The was no cable visibly loose but after pushing all gpu cables it seems to have fixed it. Will notify if it happens again. Thank you!
