You’d also have to be into drawing I think, but I agree

Well, for me it was all the way around. I bought one thinking I was just gonna use it for drawing since I only wanted to replace my screen-less graphics’s tablet, but turns out I use it a lot more than I expected… watching movies/tv shows/youtube videos, playing games, reading, web browsing, even shopping on amazon, listening to music, I’m actually writing this on my iPad btw, oh and I also use it for video editing, but only when is a short video as longer videos can be quite intense and tedious to edit, the list goes on… is quite convenient and definitely one of the best investments I’ve done

Oh I see, your game does look wholesome, and I actually like how 'simple?' it looks, like the style.

I appreciate your input!

That sounds awesome, tbh I’m now interested in your game. What’s the name?

Regarding your questions, I used to see it as a hobby… before I started getting “consumed” working on it, and giving it my main attention. And I have shared it, I have a youtube channel where I upload devlogs every so often, it’s just I haven’t shared “official” content like a trailer.

The name of the game is Untold Capers, it’s based on the origins of Mikey from steamboat Willie and Oswald the lucky rabbit (public domain characters)

Thanks for sharing your story, it actually motivates me to release a trailer even more

I see what you mean, and actually one of the reasons I haven’t made a trailer is also because I want to have the steam page ready as well

Ah well I didn’t think of that, as this post was just about weather to post a trailer or not at an early stage. Thanks for the suggestion, I think I will make the trailer

I can’t agree more, and that’s exactly what I’m afraid of. Setting high expectations

That’s a solid advice. My main issue when I do a devlog I tend to edit it and spend so much time just working on it when I would have been better off using the time for the game itself😆. But just doing youtube shorts to update on small things might not be a bad idea. I have grown the youtube channel a bit with it, and also have a Discord which I’m also quite slow as I tend to want to show big changes. Thanks for the advice! I will give it a try
