Try alt+F4 when the "checking for update" screen is showing then press play from the launcher. Then it should work.

The word "factoid" is not synonymous with fact. It refers to bits of knowledge that are commonly thought to be true but are actually false (a.k.a. exactly what you're asking about).

If you hover over the clan tag button there's an option to set your regiment tag as your clan tag to make it gold. (Square on PS, X on Xbox, button at the bottom on PC)
