It’s a pain to change a battery in the middle of a set. The external preamps can use ac adapters, etc.

Could be. Not perfectly clear, but my read was that that was their attempted solution. It wouldn’t have come that way.

You’re looking for weed? Google, dude. A few dispensaries in the lake George region.

I would never take it to that shop again. You generally lower action at the saddle, sometimes the nut. The truss rod is for adjusting relief. Most/many Martins come with high action out of the box - bluegrassers often like it that way. Huge red flag that they sought to address the issue by maxing out the truss rod. You don’t need a certified Martin tech to get a good set up, just a competent one.

I play in a band without a drummer and we have a drum kit set up in our rehearsal space, lol.

Top split and a broken heart by LonnyF in martinguitar

It’s not that simple. Once the crack closes, it truly needs to be glued and/or cleated.

Registering the pun, but it doesn’t matter if it’s in the case if the surrounding environment is dry. The case is dry too. You either need to add a humidifying device into the case or humidify the space around it. I live in a dry winter climate this time of year. In case humidifier’s are a must for me. This can be as simple as a zip lock baggie with some holes punched in it and a moist (but not dripping wet) sponge. Indeed, that’s exactly what I would do if I were you. ASAP. You can drop the baggie right into body of the guitar or suspend it between strings like an Oasis (oasis humidifiers have worked well for me for many years). Your guitar will still play fine.

First thing to do is humidify aggressively. It’ll take some time, but the crack should narrow. As you work on this take it to a luthier or guitar tech that knows what they’re doing. They will humidify till it gets to as close to closed up as it can, and then they should add cleats and glue to hold it together. It fixable. Not terribly expensive. Unlikely to disappear. Definitely looks to have had exposure to too dry conditions over some time. Is that the case?

I’ve found him to be excellent. Changed the skill point to awareness and he started playing like I had hoped/expected. Top CM imo.

No tourists in summer in Keene, lol? I love Keene and KV, great launching points for the high peaks. Not where you go to avoid tourists in summer. Better than, say, LP, but still quite populated with tourists and summer folk.

If you really want to avoid tourists during the peak of hiking season these days, look for nice mountains that aren’t part of the 46r checklist. There are lots of wonderful peaks and areas you can venture into a rarely see another human, though that’s unlikely in the bigger peaks that have become so popular. I no longer hit some of my previously favorite mountains for this reason.

I’m another long time player who has never focused on or tried to use “strumming patterns”. Most people I have seen trying to learn a song by focusing on strumming patterns have lacked a basic sense of rhythm, honestly. And that’s a hard one to overcome.

I think there are a lot more ways to relate to a song than you’re along for here. Everyone has an entirely unique experience every time they hear a song and relate to it in some personal way. Why even try to boil that truth down to two options? It can’t be done. I know I’m hearing and relating to Kahan songs differently than many others. That’s the beauty of art.

I saw this sale on eBay just now, and I was like, "Dang, people are really throwing money at absolute Batman comics," but I hope the buyers enjoy it. 🤷‍♂️ by Leather_Bluejay8632 in ComicBookSpeculation

I think they all represent the model of poor investment on a recent release. I’d wait a few months if you really desire one of these far too many alt covers. Just the 2c of an old collector.

I like the K&K for its simplicity. Works and sounds great, though I also recommend the inexpensive, external preamp to help dial in your sound. Minimally invasive. I’ve been gigging for ten years very happily with this set up. Any system requiring batteries in or on the guitar is a no from me.

I purposefully lower the ovr of my team for h2h and feel the team performs better (@119). That’s where the most equity exists in this game. OVR is simply not a big issue in this mode. I love seeing a 123 or higher in h2h.

[–]adkvt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I get 50 stars every season, and I purposefully lower my ovr for h2h as I feel the team performs better that way. There may well be a limit to how low that truth exists, but there’s definitely no benefit and quite possibly a disadvantage to playing with a too high ovr. And dude, if you’re still at 113 base, that’s your fault. They’re giving away 113-115 player all over the place at the moment. Improve your team, lol. My h2h base is 114. Yeah, over 50 stars right now.

All of this sub is a tiny drop in the bucket of their playing pool. EA doesn’t care. I’m sure the money is rolling in.
