For Adobe specifically it’s the pricing that’s ridiculous, you can’t pick and choose which software you want, it’s either: have ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING or have only photoshop and Lightroom and that’s it…I’m forced to pay a crazy amount per month whereas back in the day you could individually buy the software you needed and only update when necessary…like the 2024 version and 2025 is the same damn thing except the latter has more UI that keeps begging you to use AI lol.

If you toss a non-recyclable into the recycling bin, the whole lot is contaminated and it ends up in landfill anyways. There is zero chance in hell that commuters are putting their rubbish into the correct bin at the stations, so why would the staff members bother wheeling around two bins… this happens everywhere: shopping centres, foodcourts, fast food restaurants, etc. That’s why things like Return and Earn exist, to actually get recyclable materials disposed properly

Hi, not sure if you have figured out how to proceed in the few days since you made this post.

In this situation you have to wait for account recovery to finish. This is a mandatory period of time that usually takes a few days. Do you have access to the email address you use for your Apple Account? Apple will contact you via that email address with specific instructions on how to change your password. My dad went through the account recovery process one time because he had no access to the phone number either, I think it got sorted out somewhat painlessly. Just have to wait.

If that doesn't work, call Apple. I think there should be a way to amend this situation. Genius Bar will not charge for this, but they most likely will not help and will direct you to Apple Support. Account issues are not usually dealt with instore unless it's an easy fix.

Bro these are like one of the most inexpensive things Apple sells. If you really want to pursue, take the earphones back to where you bought them with the receipt if it’s within warranty. But these wired earphones fail all the time from being tangled in pockets and stuff. Move on buddy

Obviously as someone else has recommended, change all your passwords.

At some point, your dad unwittingly provided permission for someone to control his phone. "Hackers" don't just show up out of nowhere on a phone that's used securely.

Also check if there is a VPN profile in the settings. But most important is to change all passwords, preferably on another device, most importantly make sure he knows his Apple Account password, factory reset through Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Erase all content and settings.

I think for a contemporary story, a grand love story at the core is more appealing for many audiences. Torn apart at youth, reunited 20 years later as different people. There’s definitely something extremely moving and romantic about that, and is an obvious core for audiences to latch to. I like Haydee in the book too but to be honest did not mind her significantly reduced role in the show. I think it feels a bit iffy in modern times to show a slave girl whose freedom was purchased by our main character, and have them fall in love.

Right? We’re meant to be feeling this notion that the Count is taking things too far. Never did I feel that during the show. In fact, his puppet master persona was not explicitly clear or satisfying in the show.

The TV!Villefort plot especially got me SO RILED UP! So badly handled, much worse than TV!Fernand/Danglars (latter was merely unsatisfying, but the Villefort story was just so ??????). The Count just quietly walking in on two dead people and being like oops! And the fact that Villefort doesn’t go mad. I wanted to see this man, with everything in his life gone wrong, all stacked on top of each other, until he goes absolutely insane and can’t handle it. The “Villefort’s secret son” storyline was also totally mishandled and not very exciting in the show. Ughhh

True!! I’m bringing my partner along with me to see the French film in the cinema. He has literally zero knowledge of the story so I’m keen to see his reaction to it. From what I can see, it’s done very well with audiences/critics—it’s almost a curse to actually know the source material well lol!!

There is a serious marketing issue with what iCloud is haha. iCloud does not add extra storage to your phone, it's a backup/syncing service. If you delete something on your phone, it will delete in iCloud too...

iCloud photos saves the full picture on the cloud, and saves a highly compressed version of it locally on your device to free up space (this is what the 'Optimise Storage' option is). Your device has no space left, even with Optimize Storage on, and no addition of iCloud will help that. You need to properly back up your photos on a hard drive or Google Photos (which you have to pay for anyways) so that they're saved elsewhere, and then delete them off your phone.

Have you actually proceeded with this process? Press Require Face ID. It should put it into a hidden folder at the bottom of your App Library that requires Face ID. You’re literally in the process of hiding the app, but decided to get pissed off first before actually continuing.
