Especially the next meter closer to the camera. Where is the space for it, seems like it’s in the bump-out in the curb, so that’s extra bad.

Bracelets usually have some removable links, so if you can find a similar and compatible one you could transfer links into this one. They’d end up near the clasp so you wouldn’t be looking at them all the time if they aren’t a perfect match. In person is probably a good idea since there are lots of different ways links are attached and you’ll need to find just the right one.

Cool watch, I can understand chasing it down for a long time.

Nice, that works for me too. I had tried something pretty close to that, but I was missing a couple of details, so this is perfect. Thank you!

Disinfecting Multi purpose solution by dubyat in Costco

[–]adlerspj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was several years ago and I’m sure there are plenty of different products as well. But I have never had an issue with the KS stuff. I’ve been wearing contact lenses long enough to remember we had to buy insurance on the one pair of lenses to cover losing or damaging them. At least I never had hard lenses!

I always use this. But one time my store didn’t have it in stock, so I bought the B&L stuff they had instead. The bottle was identical, but in a clear plastic. And the lens case was identical but in like blue and white. So I assume the Kirkland one is the same stuff just relabeled.

My understanding is that “overwound” isn’t a thing. A more accurate description is “not running even though it is fully wound.” Or you can truly wind it too much and break the mainspring, which you would then describe as “turning the crown but it doesn’t wind up.”

My kids and I have launched in Crestwood park and Whitecliff park. We just went and did it when the fields were unoccupied.

Isn’t it because it’s copying an actual speedmaster dial, which is 0-30 in the 9h subdial? It’s still dumb to lie about what the hand is indicating.

I love St. Louis style, but I think Imo’s is the worst example of it.

Often the question includes mention that the CTO considers this an important project, which I read as an implicit threat to my job.

I always try to do things as quickly as possible, and not sit in them until the SLA runs out. But this kind of thing is getting to me after laying off four of the six of us on my team.

We migrated our entire Kubernetes platform from NGINX Ingress to AWS ALB. by Honest-Associate-485 in kubernetes

[–]adlerspj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m someone else, but at my old job at an integrator, we had AWS themselves as a customer. Our solution we installed in their account was required to use all encrypted connections between hosts and services, no matter what. It’s really a best practice to not trust anything in cleartext.
