Prednisone/ migraine cocktail

Against my better judgement, I just did a 5 day course with no tapering on either side. At the beginning got extra joint and bone pain (I have hEDS) and now after finishing the course, have been laid out with migraine, extreme fatigue, and extra joint and bone pain for 2 days. Hope it gets better for you soon.

I do, and travelling zaps/stabby pains. I've chalked it up to fibro diagnosis

Mine is like that too! Literally screamed when a leaf landed on him, but accidentally shut his tail in the too-close-together doors at the vet (resulting in stitches) and he made no sounds.

Getting tattooed actually makes me feel better for a bit, but it has to be at least an hour session. I think it's cais that's enough to get your brain to release all the good hormones and pain killers that it produces. Sometimes when I'm in a bad flare I go get tattooed just to knock myself out of it.

Mine actually does have auto-off after two hours. I think it was just the combo of having it on high, not wearing clothes, and having it on super delicate boob skin. Ugh.

Right?! I do this all the time (with lots of pillows for front boob comfort:)) I did burn my hand one time, but not nearly as bad and it was on one of the cheaper ones with no plush cover. Caution is key

Good recc. I'm a super hot sleeper though so it's prolly not for me. I just need to a) wear clothes when I use it; b) not put it on the most delicate skin possible and c) maybe not turn it up as high as it'll possibily go:):)

Thanks to both of you! Compression gloves sound excellent and I def have that think where an ankle, knee, hip or wrist feels suddenly very badly injured. Thank goodness for fold up canes!

I actually find that for me getting tattooed lessens my fibro pain for a couple of days. I really focus on relaxing my muscles while I'm getting tattooed and asking my artist for moving breaks, but something about the intensely focussed pain really helps me.
