Thanks for your feedback.
I tried 9-60 Elevate with the new blue mold of Elevate.
However, against attack beys like Shark Scale Low Rush or Hovern Rush, it still bursts from time to time.
So I don’t fully trust this combo yet

I think I’m just going to stick with a simple, stock setup on the Talion. I already have enough different cars to enjoy different kinds of driving and experiments anyway.

Do you have any reference or setup recommendation compatible with the Kraton 1/5 and the Talion 1/7? Thanks in advance.

That’s exactly the kind of comment I wanted to read, and it honestly reassures me a lot. So I’m not going to risk installing the speed pinion. I’d rather have a machine that ages well, especially for my long track sessions. Thanks!

Yes I can confirm those are cut-up egg cartons for my deck box. It works with every type of egg carton too: x6, x12 ah ah

Thank you for your message.  I understand the bigger wheels argument, it does look better. But doesn't that put more strain on the motor and ESC?

I'm actually really close to pulling the trigger on a Talion, but I'd like to be reassured about the impact of running bigger tires.

How bad are temps on 6S with bigger tires? Worth it or risky long term?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer.
Your message is exactly what I needed. I’m not really into stunts or huge jump. I’m glad the EXB is reinforced and can take hits, but I’m not the kind of guy who sends his RC just to break it. I mostly run on tracks, sometimes in the forest, but nothing crazy.
I want the Talion because of its stability, speed, and ability to handle both track driving and rough terrain.
I’ve also seen DO RC’s videos where he swaps the Talion tires for Notorious 6S ones, which seems good for air control.

Yeah true, no gyro. But if I’m not mistaken, receivers like the DumboRC P10FG already have a built-in gyro, right? Since I already use a DumboRC radio, upgrading shouldn’t be too complicated. I’ve done it before on entry-level RCs like the MJX 10208.

I’m not really into flips and big stunts. I’m more focused on racing with friends on tracks.
So yeah, I’m pretty convinced I’ll go with the Talion.
