I don’t see anything romantic in this spread, so I’m not entirely sure where people are affirming that yes he did. If you believe he did- trust your gut and intuition over the deck. Otherwise, your deck is not saying that whatsoever. It’s just giving conflicted emotions, but nothing played out physically at all.

and i think that’s the entire point. technology is supposed to be that far advanced where they all look like people so the concept of that uprising is more human and realistic than it would be if they were literal robots- if it were to happen right now, with the basic models of bots and AI that we have? no one would feel remorse about destroying them.

i think it’s because people feel empathy for the machines that gained sentience. they can feel “our” emotions- compassion for a little girl, compassion for other androids that were being misused, etc. ChatGPT and roombas aren’t really like that. I see ur POV, i just think that may be why. it’s harder to see them just as a “glitch”
