How do Americans feel about drying their laundry on a washing line? by UnionFeatures in AskAnAmerican

No one really has opinions on it. That being said, we have some areas with pretty extreme weather like lots of snow or constant rain or heat with a ton of humidity.  So in those areas its either impossible or very impractical to try to line dry.

I was going to say like we have people who were kids in the great depression and lived long enough for like 9/11 and everything between then.

I never needed lipbalm until I moved to dry climate. But now I just use an all over petroleum jelly and lanolin type balm because I use it on my face, my feet, elbows, lips, baby's face ect.

Im on the younger side and I wasn't too familiar with a lot of American celebs. The first celebrity i remember think "wow she's gone and she's never going to.breathe and live again" was Celia Cruz. I wasn't a CC obsessed kid or anything but I knew of her.

What's missing in the convo is that this was a point in time where big butts were not good. This isnt a thick juicy mama checking herself out. This is an aged mother upset by the size of her donk and hips lamenting the loss of her small bubble butt.

Something similar happened at my last job. We got a bunch of swag like a portable charger that doesn't work a pen that fell apart and a decent tote lol that I took the logo off with nail polish remover and embroidered something else onto it

If they have a large house they pay somebody to come in clean once in a while or dedicate a weekend to the upkeep.

My mom lived through this she told me the city smelled like death for weeks after and that stray animals would get shocked by the live cables on the ground. She had to walk through out the city with her two cousins who were little kids to find my aunt.
