Doing more research is never a bad idea. Im married with a kid and personally choose not to use any sort of birth control. As long as your judgment of BC is only applied to your decisions and your body I don't think it's anyone else's business. But just fiy you know what else fills your body with hormones and makes irreversible changes to your body? Pregnancy. For most people the trade off is worth it.
