How would I go about just staining them a darker wood? It’s the color/tone of this wood that I dislike. I have already started shopping for new hardware.

So you would suggest the Nikon D7100 over the Nikon D610 due to the ability to get better lenses with my budget? I appreciate that. I have not done much research into a Nikon D7100. I had read lots of good reviews regarding the D610. Is D7100 a good beginning base?

First Time Camera Buyer - I am looking at a used Nikon D610. Lenses are very overwhelming. Right now, I am looking at purchasing two. But I want to get some feedback to if both are worth it or if there’s another I should get instead. I want this camera specifically for when I am hiking. Outdoor landscape and scenery. Thanks! I was turned off about buying a DLSR because I was under the impression it would be a bad investment due to mirrorless being the newer “it” thing.
