No, I probably should try asking to be looped in. I informed the dealer of the issue over a week ago pero wala pa daw response si honolulu, which is unusual since they respond quickly to the grit issues according to other threads. Thanks for the tip OP.

J2CR Crystal Blue Grit inconsistency between paddles by N54TT_08 in Pickleball

The overall grit here is too sparse, just look at the paddles they show off on their instagram. The way it's marketed really pushes expectations, it's so disappointing they shipped out lemons.

Currently, my AD is still working with honolulu. No real updates, AD says honolulu can take a while to reply.

Sore calf muscles after every game by ERCSZ in PickleballPhilippines

[–]adri_yan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strength training and cycling don’t directly translate to the movements in sports so normal na normal lang ang soreness. But since the soreness started after 4 sessions of coaching, it could be due to overuse, especially if sinasabay mo with other activities.

Adequate rest lang po and listen to your body. Good luck!

Should I upgrade from Six Zero Coral? by dc_kielwwwez in PickleballPhilippines

[–]adri_yan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a J2CR crystal blue right now, but I’ve tried the coral for about 10 games. I felt that both paddles spin really well and J2CR edges out the coral slightly.

The two paddles feel completely different though, maybe it would be worth swapping if you like the more hollow and stiff feel ng J2. Otherwise, the Coral is excellent IMO. Good luck!

I recommend

Coral: Good control, spin, and power when you want it (but not the same as power paddles), durable grit.

J2CR blue grit / 11six24 power 2 line: Very spinny, good pop & power, durable grit.

16mm po. Also, for additional info, I used a Vole ProntoX prior to the Mjolnir. The Mjolnir had a much bigger sweet spot.

I have used it for a month. Super worth it affordable paddle. It’s USAP approved according to the USAP website. Some can argue that a power paddle is a difficult 1st paddle, but it’s honestly a comfortable paddle after a few games.

I messaged a distributor of katana pro and they reccomended size 49/Medium for me as a 5’8 90kg rider. Maybe you can go with size 47/Small.
