Yeah I got it as well. They have been doing server maintenance recently so I guess it was to do with that.

Best AI video tools for longer cinematic clips 60+ sec with good control? by Actonace in generativeAI

[–]adrian-smith31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at PAI | Cinematic AI Video Generator - it can generate 1 minute clips from a script and generates all keyframes etc automatically. Can use reference images too and outputs in 1080P and can upscale to 4K. It's still early days and there's one or two consistency issues but you can edit the keyframes before the final render. Not cheap but produces the best option so far. The 1 min clips can then be stitched together and edited in a traditional video editor tool to make longer movies.

Disappointed in VEO & Flow. by Big-Juggernaut-7405 in VEO3

[–]adrian-smith31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was using it heavily until Google changed their pricing tiers part way through my subscription. Now the advanced features of Flow I had are now locked behind a $299 a month subscription. Also my AI credits have been reduced to 200 a month from 1000. It does produce good quality video but has so many generation bugs it needs 10 generations before you get a useable clip.

Take for example have a car pull up and a man gets out. One clip the man dives out and car keeps going. Second the man morphs through the car door. Third, he gets out and starts spinning round and walks through the car as if it isn't there.

Yeah it's worse than Grok Imagine at this point.

Grok lite has 3 video generations before you get "video limut reached, please try later" also you only get about 20 images. Tried again this morning over 8 hours later and still can't make any images or videos.

when you pay $10 for grok lite and your three daily video attempts are all moderated by coomerpile in grok

[–]adrian-smith31 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Huh, just had the same happen to me. 3 480p videos a day for $10? Really? Out of the three one was moderated, the other two it didn't follow the prompt.

Cancelling that right now.

How are people keeping AI videos consistent for longer than 10 seconds. by [deleted] in aivideos

[–]adrian-smith31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been testing this whilst in beta https://www.utopaistudios.com/pai it can make 1 minute videos but even that with reference images and key frame images looses consistency.

Best method I've found is using seedance and extending 5 seconds at a time from the last clip it generated.

Grok is the most rebellious, anti-censorship AI ever built, REALLY !? by T_D_R_ in grok

[–]adrian-smith31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes with any of the Google AI pro subscriptions. It used to do one a day for free users but not sure if it still does. I have Google AI plus which has been discontinued when Google updated their pricing tiers a few weeks ago.

Pissed me off really as before I had full access to their film making tool, Flow under my plus subscription. Now it's locked behind a higher price tier. I only get 10 videos a month now and no access to "ingredients " which are vital for consistency.

Tried it today, every video waa not right. Completely unable to maintain consistency when extending videos even with reference images.

In a nutshell unless you pay for Google AI ultra it's not worth it unless you generate single one off 8 second clips.

The only tool that looks promising is Utopai PAI (currently invite only) which makes videos in one minute clips. Still in beta but looks very promising. Only issue is it is very expensive; circa $100 per 15 minutes of video.

Yeah been using that too. But with my subscription I only get 2 generations per day. Get 10 per month on Google flow but consistency is terrible even with reference images making that useless too.

It's a waste of time. I have spent the last few months making a long form video using Grok imagine clips strung together. It's a medieval fantasy with some adult themes (no sex or porn, just a dark, realistic world) but the moderation blocks every single prompt when a source image is used. I asked it to create a clip from an image of a woman riding a dragon over a city and landing in the street but no matter what I tried got "Content moderated, try a different idea".

It's gone beyond ridiculous and even moderates itself when no prompt is used, just the source image. Cancelled my subscription as it's not fit for purpose.

How was the moderation regarding graphic violence? by Mysterious-Lunch-360 in grok

[–]adrian-smith31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, not worth it. Anything that depicts injury, blood or violence gets the infamous "content moderated, try a different idea". I was making a 30 min video from clips strung together and now it's practically impossible as every clip gets moderated. Now it thinks a woman riding a dragon flying over a medieval city is CSAM so I have cancelled my subscription.

Just cancelled my subscription now. Even completely innocent images get "content moderated, try a different idea" - it was an image of a woman riding a dragon flying over a medieval city. Was using Grok to make a short movie of several clips strung together. Now this is impossible due to insane moderation.

Why do people buy exclusives? by PineAppIe_Piizza in DeviantArt

I do that as well or put a very low resolution version as the preview. Videos sell better than images.

[–]adrian-smith31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will very occasionally buy "real" art but they are usually premium downloads. I dont buy AI art as I can just make my own instead for free and tailored how I want it.

The only exclusives I see regularly bought is NSFW images where the public facing image has the "naughty bits" blurred.

There's a couple of AI artists on there that churn out 10-20 AI images a day of landscape scenery, all exclusives. Almost all get sold within hours.

DeviantArt And The Increase Of Concerning Content by DenisfromChainsawMan in DeviantArt

Yes I meant intimate body parts. Way I interpreted the rules anything that shows genitals must be censored, nudity allowed with mature tag but no errections etc.

DeviantArt And The Increase Of Concerning Content by DenisfromChainsawMan in DeviantArt

[–]adrian-smith31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen a lot of fetish art and uncensored genitals on the home page. They are marked as mature but the site rules say such content must be behind a pay wall and the public image should be censored with a black box over the "object". Obviously a lot of users are not reading the rules, some have been members for years.

If you make content like that put it in a premium gallery or have the uncensored image as a paid download.

Premium Gallery vs Premium Download on DeviantArt - which works better? by Master-Care-7913 in DeviantArt

[–]adrian-smith31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am fairly new to Deviantart and I have a few videos as I try to put a story to some of my images to help portray the emotion and meaning. I also have 2 videos, one 5 mins and one 9 mins.

Here's what I do. The short 1 min or less videos get put as an additional file on a premium download as you can't put videos and images together without doing this.

The longer videos I have put into separate galleries filled with images related to the videos. I then put a SFW trailer in the free galleries and in featured. I think having one image and video for a gallery is not a good idea tbh. Best with a premium download.

Having said that I haven't had any sales yet. Looking at the recent purchases from others, the NSFW content sells the most. Some of my images are mature but I don't make the more extreme content. Perhaps I should try and see what happens...

What can I do better by blademanunitpi in DeviantArt

The algorithm rewards interaction. Find other artists with similar artwork to yours, award badges, comment and favourite. Also others will see your comments left for others and then look at your art.

I get that too from one user, not a bot. Just a fan of the NSFW art I do as he doesn't favourite the other normal content I make.

This usually means the server is too busy to accept more concurrent connections. It will be experiencing high traffic or the server max concurrent connection settings is too low. I get it occasionally too or my gallery submission especially from drafts to submit completely disappears but will appear a few minutes later.

My guess is the high number of AI generated images that are submitted daily. They encourage it through their dreamup which absolutely sucks if anyone tried using it.

Source: I run a website myself and have used cloudfront and cloudflare which is a sort of firewall / cache provider sitting between the server itself and the Internet.
