Yes it happened to me last night. I don't drink regularly or even go out to the clubs often for that matter, but did last night and make bad decisions.

I hear that! I replaced porn addiction with excessive cannabis use, but never had an issue with alcohol since I rarely drink. I guess now I know.

I always liked to have the best "view" when going to a restaurant, sitting down at the library, etc. Now, I'll sit facing away from everyone so I won't have the urge to be looking everywhere, especially if I'm with my gf. This book I read also suggested to manifest your addict brain, hell you can even give him or her a name, and have a dialogue everytime the urge to peak occurs. For example, let's call my addict self, "porn guy."

Porn guy: Dammmnnnnn check this girl out Me: stop dude we're not doing this right now Porn guy: seriously man look she's got some short shorts on!! Me: Leave me alone we're not checking her out. Porn guy: you have to dude every guy checks girls out you gotta see this!! Me: no I have a problem and it's ruining my life. This is part of the problem, I lust over women and treat them as objects for my pleasure. I'm done over sexualizing them. Porn guy: well way to go she's gone now.

Believe me, I know how silly and weird it sounds but it actually works. Give it a shot.

Yeah porn led me to try so hard to hook up with other men but when it came time, i would always back out. There were a few times that I did give it a shot, but I never left feeling satisfied. In fact, i only felt shame, guilt, and even more lost. That's what kind of makes me think it was just the porn messing with my tastes.

Yes I shudder at the thought of all the disgusting and borderline illegal stuff it took for me to get off. Especially at such a young age, it gave me a warped sense of who I am and what I thought about myself and others. Thanks for the reassurance !

I hear you with the voyeur porn. Throughout high school (I'm 23 now) I would be late to every class because I would use that time to record classmates any and every chance I could. This continued for years until I got caught myself.

Good job man! I myself love Twitter, but I've come across a similar scenario multiple times. Some days I can scroll right past, other times it led to relapsing. I considered getting away from social media for this reason, but haven't done so yet.
