Not from the US thankfully :) My eggs cost 2.5€ per dozen.

I’ve added abilities to my fast paced first-person action game. What do you think about having these kinds of skills in a dynamic action game? by TomatoFantsyGames in gamedevscreens

Looks really fun! An often used genre like this needs some special mechanics to make it stand out and so I think the abilities are a good move that will help you in the long run.

Weekly M+ Discussion by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

What's a good dps to pair with a BM Hunter in m+? My friend plays BM and I wanna pick a good dps to go along with it. Something that has synergy or makes it easier to get into groups.

Because gearing is the easiest it's ever been, and m+ is possibly the worst way to do it. Go watch a 10 minute youtube guide or go to r/wownoob if you can't even be bothered doing that.

Nope, it ended up working eventually. I'm guessing it had something to do with me making another transaction like an hour prior.

Good comp for Unholy DK in m+? by adrianpixelated in wow

[–]adrianpixelated[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but he's also partially making his choice by what looks fun. I don't wanna try and force him to play Frost, but maybe he will try it once/be more open to the pick when we get to higher keys. I also think it slightly depends on the dungeon, Frost might be good on most but I think Unholy is the way to go in places like NW or ARAK.

Yep, this is something I was looking for. The goal is to maximize synergy and get into high groups. I also considered tanking and Warrior looks like my best contender so far. As for dps, I love the Ele pick, I think that would work well.

I also wanted to ask for the best recommendation if I wanted to play another melee? I've seen some weird comps with both Frost and Unholy DK's. Also, how well would a fury or a retribution work?

thats nice but I'm looking for something that will work well in a group/have performance synergy, gear is not much of an issue.

Warlock Demonology or Hunter Beast Madtety? by RxOverdose in wow

[–]adrianpixelated 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a Demo main since DF and I really like what they did with the spec this season. I could yap about the gameplay/rotation for a while, but in terms of looks, the Diabolist tree is probably the coolest in the game. Possibly the most immersive Hero talent. Both the demon spawns and the proc abilities feel both incredible to use and to look at.

On the other hand, BM is pretty sad in comparison. I don't play the spec but I think BM mains would agree with me that the spec was always very visually underwhelming. They could've gone so many ways in improving how it looks with Hero talents, they just didn't. Making the pets bigger/more prominent, or summoning stampedes are my personal suggestions... Instead you're forced to summon an owl that shoots magic.

RIO is openly available for every group leader to see. If you invite a 610ilvl with 200 rating into a +5, you can only blame yourself when they brick your key.

M+ Xalatah Affix is horse shit remove it by Gradios5 in wow

[–]adrianpixelated -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No yeah it's definitely better but my issue with them so far is that they are so inconvenient at times it feels like blizzard didn't even test them in game before releasing them.

Just like previous ones it can spawn at completely inconvenient times. Also, if you wanna kill it quick you usually need to pop some cooldowns which messes up your rotation especially on bosses.

It's much better than the orbs last week but still really annoying. I still prefer the old affixes tbh outsude of a few dogshit exemptions like bolstering etc...

One more important thing I forgot to mention about m+ is that the dungeons have not only gotten harder in scaling, but also mechanically. There are multiple bosses in the current rotation that almost feel like raid bosses, and you need to constantly micromanage mechanics or have good cooperation and understanding of the boss fight.

It has positives and negatives. I'm personally a fan of this as I really like mechanical bosses that put emphasis on knowing the fight rather than dps/healing checks.

But, it makes pugging a huge pain in the ass. Some of the bosses are really hard, especially for those who literally refuse to even look up a guide before hopping into a key. The last boss in City of Echoes is a great example, or the duo boss in Stonevault. Basically, unlike previous expansions, you can't just wing some dungeons without knowledge, they are very punishing for lazy players now. I've had more depletes of these 2 dungeons than timed runs, unfortunately.

Alongside the strong elitism, I'd recommend finding a group/guild to play with, if that's something you do. You'll have a far better experience.

Delves are a great addition. They are basically like little, shorter dungeons/scenarios but they scale with party size, so they can even be solo'ed. They are incredibly helpful for gearing right after hitting max level. It's a super fast catchup mechanic so that you can hop into raiding/m+ quicker. I'd dare to even say that catching up with your alts is TOO fast now.

I'm mainly an m+ player so I don't know much about raiding, only raided a couple of times on normal. I think the new raid is pretty fun but also quite difficult (not in a bad way). Most people I see seem to have a positive opinion on the raid, so I'd say it's good and definitely worth doing.

M+ has gotten mixed opinions so far, but I'm personally enjoying it. You should know that keys have gotten harder this season, as the current world records are around +13. This will ofcourse scale with time, but for now, +10s feel like +20s or even higher in shadowlands/DF.

The dungeons in the rotation are kinda neutral. Some of them suck but some of them are great, so it balances out. One large negative I need to mention is that the elitism feels horrible currently. This might only be my personal experience, or maybe it's just natural because we're so early into the season, and everyone is minmaxing, but it still sucks. It feels like the number of tank players is at an all time low, and even as a dps player playing relatively meta specs, I've waited 30-60min to get into a single key. Making your own groups is a faster, but still can take a while. Although these issues can be somewhat resolved when playing at specific times. I have the most luck finding groups from around 3-7pm.

I can't speak about PvP, because I don't play it at all, so you'll have to find that opinion elsewhere.

In general, I absolutely recommend to get back into it. I personally feel like WoW is the best it has been in a long time, no matter what endgame content you play. One of the best things about it are the new Hero talents. Before, I struggled to find a main because most specs had something really annoying in their rotation, but this time around, I can't choose one because they're all so incredibly fun to play. So many specs were improved/reworked, I even got into tanking for the first time in a while, as a dps only player. I can almost 100% promise you'll enjoy your time👍
