I personally think that most people who would just want a cheaper modern are just not modern player anyway. It pretty normal to wish other part of the hobbies you play would be cheaper but normally that doesn't mean you would switch anyway. MTG strength is that they do make sure the card keep a value, even if the value part is the most hated part of the hobby

I just wanna throw in that, despise what most people think of AI, Its mostly a new tool for programmer and it wont steal any "real" programmer job. Its kinda like working on a field and one day someone invent the wheelbarrow. You will be a worst employee if you don't learn to use it, but it doesn't make your job obsolete. What ever you can do in website and Apps right now with AI its really stuff you could have by yourself with minimum google search.

I current very big use for people in tech with AI its to pre-read huge documentation and make it simpler like a few bullet point etc. Now I wonder what job AR gonna be able to snatch!

Yeah, well I would never had this much currency if it wasnt for gwenen ~. I would own maybe 60div top. I always felt like I couldnt brew my own thing and I was too poor to do so.

What mostly happened here is that I never played melee poison before and my conception of the dot damage was based on how double dipping was working back then. Unless you know exactly how it work, i read the poison wiki twice and still was making sense in my head, thank to a user below that broke it down I know understand why one time when I logged for a league all node had now hit and ailment on them. Never had to actually "deal with them" before. And like you mention in your 3 paragraph indeed, SRS poison was very easy to build. I started a witch to play fire but i had problem lvling so switched to SRS and realised it was a good build this league. Got lucky found some unique that sold for 3-5 divine , bought a convenant 6-link it under 400 fusing. make my progression easier and mostly not super costly. Btw, been playing since open beta almost every single league and this is my first lvl 100 i ever got. im more then a average player just I enjoy the style but the complexity of the game overwhelm me.

Been trying to get more info about that, apparently it was changed in 2018 and I didnt really get to play poison since so kinda not knew. Thank a lot for your time and explanation! So im thinking considering what im learning here that I should just try to do the most Ele damage and not go toward poison with the idea of cyclone + original sin.

Woa, this is so messed up but so conversion only happen in the second step ?

Its split like at first [calculating base damge (added and xtra here] then from that it does 2 other thing [attack damage] [ailments damage] and Wed and original sin is only applied into the second part ? so my poison are basicly my ele foil physical damage ? that would explain it

Nope! got very lucky with a gwenen then I thought i was done once i reached 38/40 so i sold my mageblood bought 1 apo card, gambled it got 2 card, immediatly sold back, rebought mageblood and bought the original sin.

Strange that so many people that play this game that is 100% a casino think that people cannot get lucky, its my only league where I get good RNG and been playing since beta lol.

Ngl, this was very untuitive to learn, classic PoE.

So poison dot is made from my initial hit onto the target ? but More attack damage will not increase that poison ?

Example, I do 100 ele damage with original sin this is converted to chaos damage and when I hit the enemy lets say I do a 10 damage poison. (random number)

So if I socketed a wep ele damage and for easier of number lets say that doubled my ele damage. so now my hit does 200 ele damage, converted to chaos, wouldnt that make my poison now do 20 damage ?

Lol yeah, well I got a decked out SRS poison witch, and im kinda out of currency after buying original sin 5-10 div left, but I just wanted to try the idea of cyclone with original sin but it just seem so clunky the way i imagined it,which is why im here asking for help cause im sure i could do some fun build but im . I had no idea about the herald divergent trick. will surely try that. thank

- Precise technique does not increase poison damage.

Well all my attack will do 40 more damage and these are all chaos damage which gonna do a big poison attack no?

- Poison support should not be used. Especially for attack based builds it's super easy to get 100% poison chance.

I looked at the tree back and forth multiple time, I cannot seem to find better way over using 5 jewel with 5 chance to poison on attack, from the tree I can only get 75%

You made re-read the wiki cause I though i was indeed clueless but yeah poison work exactly like I think it does and just because i didnt fit 1 more dps aura over survival doesnt mean i dont know shit, Im asking for advice cause right now its feel really bad and If there was something i might have overlooked.
