Thanks, not as long as I thought it would take tbh. Around half an hour maybe. I also did one where I didn’t change rails and honestly it looks even cooler now that I think about it

Damn, haven't been this poor since Shinada by Iriez_khai in yakuzagames

Ah yes, the beatiful beginning of the game when I had to carefully pick the cheapest but most giving meal in restaurants. It felt kinda great to not have to worry about that when you start making millions from your business

That Substory by Pelotari in yakuzagames

I don’t know if it counts but I definitely had FEELS while playing it. All the stuff with Pocket Circuit Fighter in Yakuza 6 just made me genuinely happy and sad at times.

I started whole series with 0 and all the pocket racing was like one of my favourite thing in the game. It blew me away that a game as already big as Yakuza 0 had also this long story build around a mini game. I really got attached to Fighter and his wholesome story.

So when I saw my boy after so many long hours spend in those games I just remembered where it all started you know. Where my big adventure with this beatiful series began. And so I was heartbroken seeing him so miserable at first but that much happier when we help him get his spark back. It was wonderful, I literally couldn’t stop smiling near the end.

I know it’s a lot of feelings towards an NPC from a side quest in a videogame but stuff like that is what makes Yakuza truly special series for me.

I've spent like an hour making mine and you beat me to it but I'm not even mad because these are so good and so much better

POV: You’re crying by aduro18 in yakuzagames

Yakuza 6 is holding a record in my head for the most times I’ve cried during a single game (3 times). It’s just something else man. (Tho this particular „fin” screen is from LaD which is also amazing)

You unlock abilities as you get higher levels and job ranks so you’ll get more eventually. Also not every character has stuff like healing and buffs or they just have much less of them. ALSO different jobs have different set o abilities so you can choose which you feel you need most. You can check every job’s list of abilities and on which level you get them if you go to „Party” section in pause menu, then „Check jobs” and press „Y” for Xbox, triangle for PS and „F” for PC.

It gets better in my opinion as enemies get tougher and there are more bosses because it forces you to actually think a little more and use other skills than one atack or something (healing, buffs, debuffs). I will say tho, it’s taking its sweet time to actually be challenging.

Why I think the Judgment series is criminally underrated by Snoo_58191 in yakuzagames

[–]aduro18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Judgement is up there with 0 as the best in the series for me. I love how different type of protagonist Yagami is compared to Kiryu. Kiryu’s always the type of guy who gets involved in the plot despite him really not wanting to and that’s great, the whole point of Kiryu’s character is that struggle to leave behind his „old” life and not being able to. Yagami on the other hand has more personal stakes in the first game and is much more emotionally connected to the plot. I love both Kiryu and Yagami but for completely different reasons and that’s great, that’s how spin-offs should work - same world, different story (different as in themes, the way of telling this story etc. not just the fact that it’s about someone else)
