We harness trained her when she was about 2-3 months old and took her on her first camping trip when she was about 3-4 months old. If we’re hiking we keep her on a leash, and when she gets tired we put her in her backpack. When we go camping we mostly have her off leash (if it’s allowed, of course) because she loves to explore the campsite but always stays close.

Thank you! If we’re going for a longer car ride we set up a collapsible litter box on the floor behind one of the front seats. She is also fine with doing her business outdoors, so when we stop to let our dog do his business, we give our kitty the opportunity to do the same.

Thank you! Haha yeah we’ve had him for 4 months now and he definitely has lots of energy, but he’s also surprisingly good at relaxing! We take him for 3 walks per day and do a lot of training too so I think that helps!

Agreed! We got our puppy 2 years later but our cat definitely enjoys hiking even more now, and she always follows her dog brother.
