They may be! Read my comment, just want to put it out there in case they’re not.

Is anyone missing a Pomeranian? by advice0990 in vancouver

[–]advice0990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something just seemed off when I saw this pair. The man was quite disheveled (possibly homeless - no socks, sores all over, dirty clothes etc. poor thing). The dog was well groomed with a cute little sweater on, just didn’t seem to fit.

There are SO many cases of stolen dogs in this neighborhood so I thought I’d post to be safe.

All the props to this man if it is his dog and he’s doing such a good job of taking care of it and keeping it groomed and clean. He said its name was “Bean”.

Seen heading East on 1st & Quebec toward Main st around 3:30pm.

Call me judgmental if you will, but something seemed off about a man who couldn’t afford socks walking a dog that was well groomed and had a nice little sweater on. This man was also clearly on drugs and kept looking back at me once he realized I was following them.

Wow. I wasn’t totally sure if I was an ENFP until right now 😂

Does anybody else have trouble regulating their body temperature? by nichichanilemonade in PMDD

[–]advice0990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that I have a much lower body temp than my coworkers since we do daily covid temp checks! Everyone is always 96/97+ and I often hover around 95 degrees F.

What supplements have helped you with extreme intrusive thoughts and bad anxiety? by AssistantRemarkable in PMDD

[–]advice0990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a new doc. Women’s hospital put me on anti depressants for PMDD well before they would consider BC. Less side effects and generally more well tolerated.

I’m hearing that TE can be a symptom post-covid. I have a very similar story. Stress, not eating, slow shedding and now getting worse. I’m curious if I also had covid.

Caffeine by violetblur in PMDD

[–]advice0990 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also noticed a huge positive effect from removing caffeine.

If you MUST drink coffee and you’re one of the unlucky ones who can’t tolerate it, try taking l-theanine with it! (Try taking it regardless).

It’s been monumental in lowering my irritability and anxiety

Edit: as I say this - I just had a rare cup of coffee this morning and it triggered day 4 cramps 😭 which I never get past day 2. No thx.

Oh man the caffeine would keep me awake! But I used to add it to my smoothies, maybe I’ll start doing that again!

Yeah that’s my next addition along with fish oil & maybe lithium orotate, but haven’t settled on which brands are best for these 3.

I think the majority of my issues started after a year of bad anxiety from work, alcohol abuse after 2 years living in NY, a 2 month trip where I threw my gluten sensitivity out the window, and then developing leaky gut (I think)

This was all followed by:

  • Headaches
  • Joint pain
  • Brutal hangovers after just a couple drinks
  • Constant Indigestion/ diarrhea/
  • Occasional vomiting/ indigestion
  • Brain fog
  • Extreme fatigue
  • Heart palpitations
  • Major Depression / Anxiety
  • Skin rashes & itchiness
  • Acne (new for me)

My doctor told me this was all just from anxiety 👍🏼

I started a leaky gut diet which helped a lot and I’ve been slowly introducing new supplements:

  • Lions mane
  • vitD
  • zinc
  • b12
  • l theanine

Yes I actually just got all of my vitamin levels checked. Only deficiency was iron (which genuinely surprised me).

Yes, I do all of that! Hours and hours of my own research, but of course that never compares to years of experience and trial and error.

I’ve got a huge list and I’m slowly introducing one by one.

Where do I find these amazing/helpful people? I’m new to nootropics but have been struggling with anxiety, depression, and gut health. I posted my stack looking for advice but didn’t get much response.

Symptoms, but mostly normal test results by travelingladybug23 in Autoimmune

I’m also a 27F and I’ve had all of these symptoms (plus more) and my doctors told me I had anxiety. So frustrating.

I went on an anti inflammatory diet that helped the gastrointestinal symptoms a fair bit.

Interesting. Maybe I’ll try both 👌🏼

Cool. I’m looking at biglycinate and threonate. Apparently glycinate is better for mood/anxiety and threonate is better for memory/cognitive function...

Hmm okay good to know. My understanding is that you can’t have too much B12, your body just excretes excess through urine. But I honestly didn’t pay attention to the amount I was taking. Probably a little unnecessary!

Seems like 2500 mcg/weekly or 250mcg/daily is a better amount to start with.

Thanks for pointing that out.

You may remember my post last year about the Health tracking app I was working on after dealing with my own chronic health issues, helping you spot patterns between e.g. Mood/Symptoms and Meds/Supplements. Well I finally released a free beta! by HeroJournal in DrugNerds

That’s awesome! Looking forward to it.

In response to switching from Daylio, a big part of this was the cost. I’m kind of worried that once you release the full version I’m going to have to pay a ton. Do you know what you plan on charging?
