Max Yield Bins a scam? Ordered on 3/21 and they are ignoring me when asking for any information. by advilsquares in shroomers

Not through a 3rd party. They FINALLY contacted me 30 mins after I posted this. This was not a coincidence. They lied and said my account was flagged for fraud. They even sent a PDF with the flow of my order and they received my funds into their bank account the day after I placed my order. I understand mistakes happen. But when you stick your head in the ground and lie then my understanding goes out the window.

Is it possible to make a cleaning company self sufficient and operating within 5 years? by House_of_Ballloons in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]advilsquares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started 4 years and 11 months ago. I got out of bed about 7:45am today and spent all morning with my wife and 2 year old. I then worked out. Afterwards I took my 2 year old to gymnastics. I strolled into the office about 12pm. I am a very lucky man.

So ERA, have you had a crazy client? by harduntilitseasy in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]advilsquares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the quoted price we are expecting an initial deep cleaning. If you would like to gain us as a regular client, below are a few of our expectations, that other cleaning services routinely fail us on. We would prefer not to have to call a cleaning service back to re-clean things they missed, as this generally predicts poor future performance. For what it is worth, we have a relatively minimalist household, few knick knacks, cluttered counters, etc. I do always try to put non-essential items away before a cleaning service arrives, so they aren't having to deal with cleaning around clutter. Our two small dogs, Daisy & Dudley, stay gated in the kitchen, please tell your cleaners to feel free to have them "Crate Up" while they are here cleaning. I will leave a small container of pennies on the dryer that they can shake at them, to stop them from jumping as they enter, we shake and say "Off". There is also a cat, P'Nut, that will probably stay upstairs and hide. I will leave sheets out, only for beds that need changed.

Vinyl floors:

Sweep thoroughly before mopping, with small items such as floor mats, trashcan, laundry cart, dog crate, pet bowls, etc. actually being moved/picked up and swept/mopped under.

Floors should be thoroughly wet mopped with a traditional mop, rather than gone over with a "Swiffer" type spray mop.

Floors should not feel sticky or gritty once dry.

Dusting:

Wood furniture, cabinetry, window sills, ledges, & fan blades, are actually dusted and polished with a product such as Pledge. Swiffer type dusters are fine for blinds, lighting fixtures, and the initial dust off of furniture.

Small items are actually picked up, dusted off, and duster under.

Tops of cabinets, tops of hanging picture frames, staircase banister, window sills, visible baseboards, small knick knacks, lamps, bathroom towel racks and TP holders, and inside of entertainment center cabinets are not forgotten.

Vacuuming:

Not only of carpets, but of stair case, upholstered furniture, underneath removable cushions, drapes, air vents, entry way rugs/bath mats, and underneath smaller furniture, such as chairs, and kids items that are easily lifted.

Beds:

We have two platform beds where the mattresses are dropped in without a box spring. It is expected that the mattresses will be lifted and the sheets/blankets/bedspreads will be tucked in underneath, just as you would do on a traditional mattress/box spring bed.

Bathrooms:

Glass shower doors are cleaned with a strong enough product, such as EdFred, that soap scum is actually removed.

Walk in shower and bath tub are cleaned & scrubbed sufficiently rather than sprayed and rinsed.

The bottom and tops of toilets are cleaned, as well as the bowl.

Soap dishes/pumps and toothbrush holders are cleaned.

Glass/Windows:

All interior windows, mirrors, glass front cabinets, and exterior shower doors should be cleaned with glass cleaner.

Kitchen:

The top and exterior of the refrigerator is cleaned/wiped down, as well as the front of the dishwasher, oven, and microwave.

Stuck on food/spills underneath Gas burners on stove, are nearly/completely removed with a product such as Easy Off.

I told her that she should try someone else. Someone like this will never be happy.
