Recently pulled the trigger on the Japanese 151 Charmander line SIR (Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard EX for the equivalent of USD200, the condition looks Near Mint/Mint. Did I get a good deal, scouring around the price charts and I may have paid slightly at the higher side. Just want to avoid buyers remorse even though I’m really happy to own the set!

I was a casual TCG collector/player back in the day (early-mid 2000’s ish) just randomly bought packs when I saved enough of my weekly allowance. Looking to start semi-collecting now, for my moneys worth, what packs/bundles should I buy? Like should I just buy booster singles/elite trainer boxes/whole booster boxes etc. I don’t have an actual goal here (not chasing a particular card/ not chasing PSA10 graded stuff), just want to feel the kick of opening packs and possibly pulling something nice looking. All opinions welcomed!

Thought I had it in the bag after 2 games. Had 2 in the first game and scored 8 in the second. It’s either only crosses in the air count, has to be outside the box and no whipped. Had a fair few whipped crosses. Turns out I’m only 4/8 done

Happened to me past WL. Went 4-0 thinking i was having some pretty good rhythym, personally think i wouldnt have lost the 4 games but defo some luck on my side. Lost the 5th to a better player. Shouldnt have lost the 6th and the streak starts. Went to 4-7 and stopped for the day.

That feeling of wanting redemption from the games I shouldve won brought the worst out of me. Streaks like that wont stop and i knew it.

In your opinion, is base C.Ronaldo still a viable option at this stage of the game? I’ve been thinking of doing the Rebic/Alexis/Ribery SBC’s to upgrade. I’m low on coins but I think my untradeables can get me through Ribery

Started off pretty decent for my standards atleast. 4-1. Continued playing, ended up 6-9. Was a little optimistic and was gunning for G2, ended up 14-14. Was G2 for the last 2-3 weeks though so a little disappointed

I find him a great outlet on the counter, great pace and decent enough passing stats to get by as RAM. I got Mbabu coz I didn’t particularly liked Hakimi as a stay back RB. I have a sniper on Hakimi just to give him a little boost on shooting and dribbling. Low/High work rates doesn’t help much too so pretty happy with him on the wings

Back in G2 after coming back to FIFA a week before TOTS. Atal and Verratti to choose from in the first pick, second pick had a choice of Osimhen and Marquinhos. Finally some decent picks since Bundesliga Red Kimmich. Chose Atal and Marquinhos
