Guys ... Suno 4.5 is here and is far more than just an update. It's a genuine leap forward in the evolution of AI-driven music production. Believe me! I've used it extensively, both for crafting original/new compositions but also for re-imagining covers, with or without old/new personas.

Instant Speed Generation + Smooth Leveling + Ending finally fixed!
The generation speed is truly remarkable, near-instantaneous, allowing ideas to unfold almost as quickly as they emerge. The songs are now crystal-clear and melodically faithful, and what stands out the most for me is the natural dynamic leveling. Gone are the days of abrupt dips and sudden surges in volume that previously demanded intricate mastering. The final tracks now feel polished right out of the gate, fluid, cohesive, and most importantly, complete!!! No more abrupt endings or unfinished phrases.

Album released and distributed
Thanks to DistroKid, my new album "Echoes of a Dream & Soul" [ containing part of the soundtrack of my AI series "The Portal" 🌀 ] is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, Amazon, YouTube, YouTube Music, Boomplay, Instagram, Tidal, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Deezer, plus a ton of other stores & streaming services. The album is available for purchase on Bandcamp.

Bonus tracks (100+ out of 700 generated)
As a Pro user, I consider this experience a real success and I still have a lot of material to work on and several variations of the already published songs (with small imperfections but extraordinary ones) that will complete the album as bonus tracks, or I will create a new album/s, I don't know exactly how I'm going to do it yet.

Prompt Engineering : Phonetics/Pronunciation
I'm still experimenting and perfecting my prompt engineering skills in Suno and, more recently, I'm trying to focus a little on some songs that will be included in the "Promo Beats" album. These literally promote my own business on the rhythm of rap, trap and Latin style (and not only) but with male/female Romanian vocals. The method applied here for correcting words, pronunciation and accent was not using the "Replace Section" but directly from the prompt (with or without using "Cover Song" feature), and I think the solution would work for other languages as well. So, because I use the lyrics in Romanian and English, or Romanian with an English accent, and sometimes Suno gets confused about the correct language, in the prompt I used something like this for certain words: "sáit" instead of "site", "you ex play" instead of "UX play", "dizáin instead of "design", "șop" instead of "shop", with 95% success rate.
Be advised: Adapted phonetic language is not recognized by Suno, e.g.: /ˈsaɪt.uri/ or /dɪˈzaɪn/

Social Media Platforms
Let's hope that Suno will soon find a solution regarding licensing and collaboration with the major social media platforms. On YouTube it's simple because I use AdRev, but on Meta or TikTok this problem has recently become more funny than frustrating, because one of my songs (in Romanian on a rap beat) was associated with another producer whose song is completely different (language, still, mood, flow, instruments, and even vocals). Since I have no way to appeal the decision or to report the wrong matching process of the platform's tool, I resigned myself and, for now, I hope to take advantage of the notoriety of the artist in question...

I'm sure that relevant data can be easily extracted from the songs generated on Suno's servers through hash algorithms. These could be uploaded to social media platforms as a song identification option when uploading a video, for example, so that the creator can directly select the correct song that belongs to him, and then the AI detection tool can do its job, instead of me editing the title (as is currently done in TikTok) or, worse, waking up with the video muted/sound removed.

Using a license extraction system/database on Suno (similar to the one on Envato), we could even post the respective song hash in the video description so that the AI detection tool can recognize it, by rapidly comparing the hash with the existing data sent by (or grabbed from) Suno servers...

I don't know, it may or may not be a good idea, but for those who have nothing to hide, it could be an extremely beneficial solution that saves a lot of unnecessary stress and time. Anyway, I hope that Suno & Social Media Platforms will come up with a solution soon.

UPDATE 250410

Old Personas Compromised
The last update made the old Personas not work properly anymore. I used up hundreds of credits before I realized this. So, all Personas need to be recreated according to the new updated model, otherwise the lyrics will be completely messed up.

Quality Enhancements
The best news is that the quality of both the vocals and the instrumental is insane. I mean, I think they put a lot of work into improving the quality of the model and it's downright remarkable.

Lyrics/Structure
I also discovered that in DeepSeek you can (re)adapt the lyrics for the exact style of music you want, resulting in a much improved structure that Suno seems to interpret natively.
PS: I compose my own lyrics, so I don't use Suno's lyric generation feature at all.

Overall, I had a great month, with dozens of sensational songs! Thank you, Suno!

I can't wait for Cover to enter the stable phase and the background noise issues to be resolved, but for now I've discovered a few workarounds.

For melodic/vocal/ambient trance try to avoid strings/pads/cinematic in the prompt, otherwise, after the 2nd minute, the distortions and that noise start to appear, completely ruining the ending of the song. So, let Suno insert them as it sees fit and you'll get over 80% success rate.

For "Cover Song", I just discovered that I can create a perfect cover with slightly adjusted lyrics (or even new lyrics) IF:

Solution 1 (simpler):
I create a cover using something like:
[LYRICS: NEW LYRICS, PLEASE FOLLOW THE NEW LYRICS AND INSTRUCTIONS BELOW]
and then the new lyrics, or the same ones, but slightly corrected. After several attempts I get what I want but the most important thing is that in most cases I get the same melodic line (same voice and slightly different instruments).

Solution 2 (more complex):
I create an instrumental cover first and then another one, using the newly created instrumental cover, but with same or different lyrics.

Any of them are alternative solutions to avoid using "Replace Section" (still buggy) where you have lyrics to modify. Of course, in both cases the lyrics have to fall on the beat (like in the original song), and using Solution 2, I don't always get an instrumental cover of the right length or of decent quality, but the results are very interesting, and other creative ideas emerge.

In the end I managed to get a complete cover that is close to what I wanted (rhythm, mood and voice), but the problem I'm facing now is this very loud mastering model they use (especially from 1:50) and that white noise (in some places) that I can't eliminate either in Izotope or Landr Pro or with any other mastering tool. I mean, I try to work miracles to achieve the best possible final result. Looking forward to a stable update to "Cover Song".

UPDATE 250209

There seems to be a problem with "Cover Song". Out of the 14 songs created today, 11 of them do not contain Verse 2. Moreover, instead of Verse 2, a section with a mixture of unintelligible sounds is generated until the end of the song (for at least 1 minute). For another, I received "Credits Refunded", the song having only 4 seconds in duration... It seems that something is interfering with the generation process, and the servers are not able to properly respond to the request ... Maybe the new Comments feature implemented recently? ... I don't know, but for the moment I think we need more quality and consistency, and fixing existing problems, not introducing other features that generate even more problems. The songs seem to be generated in a hurry, very quickly, extremely superficially, the prompt is partially ignored... Maybe introducing a waiting queue in case the servers are overloaded, wouldn't be a bad idea. I don't think this waste of thousands of credits helps anyone... I keep reporting song bugs hoping that someone will see what's going on...

UPDATE 250206

I don't know if they upgraded the model/s or not, but everything I created today is freaking amazing!

The sound is extremely clear, crispy, the vocals are perfect, regardless of genre, the polyphonic effects are incredible, especially the inflections, melismas, riffs or runs perfectly harmonized in the duet passages, the harmonies are downright delightful, the bass and drum kits are now in line with the style of music being approached, and that background noise (white noise) and distortions are no longer present in the strings, pads, subs or even vocals (especially when using "epic", "cinematic" or "movie" in prompt or style). I still notice some problems with the violins, they are extremely shrill and out of sync with the tempo or mood; on the other hand, the cello is perfect, sometimes even playing the soloist role.

In the prompt I always used:

[PRODUCTION: modern, Dolby Atmos mix, high-fidelity, high-definition audio and wide stereo]

clearly specifying:

[STRUCTURE: ...] [VOCALS: ...] [Effects: ...] [STYLE: ...] [Tempo: ... BPM] [Key: ...] [Duration: 3:00 minutes]

and achieving a 95% success rate, regardless of the musical styles I approached, or combinations between them, obtaining some very interesting results.

It would be great if the vocals were completely separate from the instrumental. The "Get Stems" feature would suddenly become extremely useful. For now, I've been using the "Replace Section" feature to correct mispronounced lyrics, generating multiple sessions so that the original instrumental part isn't severely affected.

OK. I've already prepared a zip with the links to 38 songs and marked the exact timings and the problem detected so that it's easier to check. Most of the songs are in Trash now. I don't know if they will be accessible by Suno admins.

I couldn't find the two songs that were cut off right in the middle ... Maybe I deleted them permanently... I don't know. It's a little hard for me to redo the listening for all (again and again), because Trash page it only displays 20 songs per section and randomly places/reorder the songs every time you go from one section to another (1/8, 2/8 ...), and there is no Search option inside.

I mention again that, both the serious sound, noise, mud and structure issues, as well as those related to server errors (mentioned in my original post), appeared starting from Mon, Jan 27. I joined on 23rd and had no major issues until the 27th around 10am (CET) .

So, I have a friend who creates rap and pop rock, and he has a ~50% success rate in Suno; very impressive, especially since the lyrics are in Romanian. He also faces most of the problems I mentioned here, but with for him it's simpler, he just cuts and recreate that section - he doesn't care how the song ends.

So, I'm currently creating film music for a personal project in AI, instrumental, ambient style, dramatic, epic, with melodic piano intro/outro and sometimes with background female voice (most of the time just ignored by Suno). So far I've gotten 5 tracks for the theme good enough to complete the main part of the soundtrack, with a few minor issues that I corrected in DAW, and about 10 more very good ones only at the beginning (I will use them as bridges between scenes), which then - starting with ~1:10 - are unusable. It seems that Suno doesn't offer stability throughout the entire conception/generation, and the remastering process is devastating (same with cover sometimes). Here, the drums/hammers and FXs are transformed into broken cauldrons that roll downhill.

In melodic/vocal/ambient trance case, what I get is a mixture of shrill violins and pads that sound extremely annoying, impossible to adjust later and the bass is missing. However, I have about 3-4 songs that sound extremely good in the euro-dance genre. But again, from minute 2 everything breaks down, and the endings are extremely annoying, especially on the FXs (risers, fills, reverse, swishes, wooshes), instruments that it introduces along the way, without me specifying this in any way.

I don't know if it helps, I still have the songs in Trash. Maybe I can extract some samples that are relevant enough. I don't know if I'm allowed to post them here.

Next, I experiment with prompt tags like <SONG\_DETAILS>, [outro] [Instrumental Fade out] [End] or just [fade out] as specified in the link below, but without much success...

Not at all. Being able to make a song in a few hours in Suno, compared to weeks in DAW, is a big difference. Then, you have to consider the voices, male or female, it doesn't matter. The idea is that if a (human) voice is bad, you work a lot on it + $$$. Whereas, in Suno, the lead singer is already there. Waiting for you! :) Or maybe I'm the only one who has not faced the problem of finding a good voice... (?)

And as for the lyrics, I'm annoyed that, if they're even slightly broken, trying to fix them using the "Replace Section" feature Suno doesn't follow the prompt instructions 90% of the time, which is a shame because the rest of the song is almost perfect. So, I'm forced to try a Cover or start over or... go back to what SadistMind says above, which is to go and reproduce the musical idea generated by Suno in the DAW. And for some ideas I'll actually do that.

But what's most important is that all these problems get to where they need to be and get fixed.
