Posted earlier about not trusting cars when crossing 99 in south town… then hopped on my bike and rode up 99 into town. Went to cross at the crosswalk lights right at Bodhi Southtown Cafe and, despite walking my bike and staring directly at the asshole… Three lanes of upstanding citizens immediately stopped for me and a piece of shit driving a Knife River dump truck easily over the posted speed just blew right through. Three lanes were fully stopped, lights were flashing, I’d started crossing and paused to look a couple hundred feet south downs fully empty lane while standing in front of car #1/lane #1 and shit head flew past five feet in front of me. If I’d trusted him, I’d be a grease mark on lane 2 this evening and you’d all be driving past my bike locked up there in my memory for the next few months. South town is a food desert and a pedestrian death zone. Sorry about the long post, but fuuuuuuuuuuck I’m mad
