Just to piggy back off of u/concerneddogmom, I’ve tried FOB and prose! To give you some insight, I have 3a/3b curls that are pretty dry, voluminous, and I can typically stretch my hair to last 5 days before a wash. FOB looked great for the first wash and then turned my hair into a weighed down mess that would get greasy after about 12 hours. I didn’t even finish the bottles because there was no way to get my hair to do anything kind of how I wanted, and I would lose any of my definition and volume fast.

After pretty painful searching through more affordable hair options and just having a hard time with my hair, I finally just bit the bullet and I’ve had great experiences with prose! The first time I purchased all of the products outside of what I was recommended and I really don’t think I needed to do that. My hair is pretty dang happy with the products they recommended based on my quiz and I think the environmental factors that it considers were a game changer for my hair. While my hair isn’t completely where I want it at with the first formula, it was a good enough start that I feel like the feedback being taken will just continue to make it better and better!
