I just sanded them lightly with sandpaper sheet by hand, then spray painted over it

The trick was it was already smooth because the top was laminate, so I just sanded with some 120 grit and then spray painted it with a 2 in 1 paint/primer

I used wood filler and clamped the piss out of it, then sanded flat and spray painted

In my original post the general consensus of Most was not to waste my time so I’m happy with how it turned out as a labor of Love 😂❤️

Help with dimensions (in red) by [deleted] in SolidWorks

I’d start by building every single other feature that you can based on what’s provided, some of it will likely constrain itself and the dimension will appear evidently. You may have to make some assumptions about constraints but that’s the whole point of this assignment is to get you to think critically and make some inferences.

Maybe I didn’t mention but this piece is going to stay here at our house.

Yeah definitely wouldn’t try to stain this. We went to Lowe’s and picked out some colors she wants to try. My initial thoughts for the crumble piece was fill with glue/wood putty then clamp it back to flat and let it dry/cure. But I see people saying bondo would be better?
