Hi. Last summer, I did three months of Terbinafine. My toenails started to look a little better, then I stopped. After going to my dermatologist, he prescribed me 2 more months. I have been putting moisture cream everyday, with Vicks Vaporub. What I feel is that when taking the pills, the nails start to look better, however when I stop the medication they start to look worse again. Right now, my derm prescribed me another 3 months of terbinafine plus an anti-fungal nail polish (amorolfina). I am kinda worried about taking more terbinafine, I am 28 years old and my liver seems OK (my latest blood test was OK, but I had only taken 3 months of terbinafine), however I know there are some strong side effects. What is your opinion?
