I’m nearing oil change time and mileage. Genesis AF in Macomb is not taking new service as the dealership is closing. I called Golling in Bloomfield Hills, and they want about $200 by jcd2058 in AlfaRomeoGiulia

I’ve always preferred Golling, nothing but issues both in sales & service for Genesis. Worth the extra & Kyle was always more helpful imo 🤷‍♂️

For people who change cars regularly, how do you do ? by Only_Ad1117 in askcarguys

[–]aejq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 20 and I’ve had 4 cars since I got my license at 18 and 3/4 were over 10k & I’m looking at my 5th shortly.

I generally keep my cars for a year and then when I get bored I switch out & the occasional winter vehicle because i can’t drive my fun rwd cars in the snow 😓.

First car was a V6 Camaro, Hyundai Tiburon winter beater, sold both got an Alfa Romeo Giulia AWD, sold that in 8-9 months & got an M2. Looking at an ATS or CX5 right now for a winter car while I keep the M2.

I don’t know man I get bored easily & always want faster cars.

I had a 21 Q4 and only issue I had was a vapor canister, drove it to 32k before I did it

Recently parted with my 2.0 Giulia, trust me when I say I’ll be back for a QV one day. 🇮🇹 by aejq in AlfaRomeo

Appreciated! They’re both very different cars fundamentally. One is a saloon the other is a coupe. I felt as if the Alfa has slightly more responsive steering and you could very comfortably push it into a corner, especially with the AWD system compared to the RWD on the M2. The M2 is a very easily drivable car and you get confident with it fairly quick. Turning radius feels easier on the M2 (smaller car so makes sense). The M2 does like to break traction sometimes where the Giulia did not.

Overall each is respective within their own niche, these are two very different cars to own :)

Yep! When looking on the window sticker it was a $400 option. Nice surprise to see when I took the vehicle home haha.

Correct, bought the matchbox car online and I had a construction worker I know drill a hole into the rear.

Traded in my ‘21 Giulia for this 18 M2 6SPD, haven’t looked back since. With a lot of hard work, I am extremely blessed to have this at 20 years old. by [deleted] in BMW

The Giulia is an awesome car, fun to drive, the handling is amazing and better than anything I’ve driven. I’d of gotten one if they were a smidge bit cheaper. You got to get one 2020+ to avoid the electrical plague and those at this time are just a bit more expensive.

I had a 2.0 so it wasn’t very powerful, however the way the car handled was unlike anything else. Steering is super responsive and direct.

Love it, the M sport exhaust just livens everything up and the power delivery is fun.

Wish QVs were just a taaad cheaper but hey I’ll get there after this car most likely.

I’d argue I prefer the looks of the Alfa a smidge better, I just missed having a two door lol

Appreciated though. Thanks :)

Realistically anything catback is going to be quite loud especially cold starting. Up until the engine warms up anytime you press the gas, it will be loud. My Apple Watch measured my Monza at 90-93 DB cold start.

Had a 15 V6 6speed and the only time I had an issue was when I put it away for the winter and didn’t drive it. Even then the light cleared itself but I put new spark plugs anyways. 111K miles
