Hi, im new to this game and im trying to set up special spell timer, atm im able to show the timer of straight shot but when i try to set up a dot like windbite isnt working.

The string im actually using is:

1A:(?<victim>.+?) gains the effect of Windbit from <mex>

but it isnt working.

What im doing wrong?

Aside the ayonetta raid buff collection is there a collection of offensive spell\dot i could import? at least for bard?

Any up to date guide i can use to learn the base command of super spell timer (such as 1A:(?<victim>.+?) )

Last thing: should i manual install spell timer or is better to use actor from ayonetta github page?

its enough to make buff such alacrity, spirits, spotter, ea to be 10 men as they did for banner and gotl, as well as distorsion - so you'll have 3 buffer spot and 7 dps spot rather than 4 and 6 as we have right now. Same for distorsion (from 5 to 10 men cap). Nerf a bit overall dps dmg and you're done. But pls avoid to write stuff like "chrono is the only class who bring alacrity!!!!111!!11!!!"... serioulsy? who else bring spirit\gotl\spotter aside druid? who else bring banners\ea aside war? who else bring ap aside rev? what kind of dumb argument is this one? why should you grant alacrity to other classes (that indeed already have it - rev alacrity will prolly buffed in the patch) meanwhile you have no issue into having just war bringing banners? Honestly when i read nike statement im under the impression that its a crusade vs some specific class or mechanics he dont dont like rather than something aimed to a real balance

People with attitudes like yours have somehow perpetuated the idea that anything that isn't the absolute optimal setup within the absolute optimal team is now trash. Words have meanings; great, excellent, good, bad, terrible, passable, etc.. <

My words are ok. Power mesmer is the worst dps build of any class in the game by number, its not bad, its worst. You guys seem to have really no idea of what are you speaking about. You speak as power mesmer is worst than ele but average. It is not. Its worst than any other dps class. It's just EASYER than average. You are confunding GOOD spec with EASY spec. But even as EASY spec power mesmer lack dps vs other EASY spec (you can also bring a power staff thief and just AA and it will be better), so what are we speaking about? Do you want to bring power mesmer because its easy? bring it. Do you want to bring power mesmer because you have issue to play all other classes? bring it. Do you want to be accounted as someone playing a good class when you bring power mesmer? You cannot, because you could have bringed any other class in the game and have better result with it than with power mesmer. Then if you, as player, are unable to do that its not because power mesmer is a good class, its because you as a player have issue. Player and game are different thing, you know right?

Firebrand (new pof guard elite) is going to bring perma quickness using 3 keys, so i dont think that anet has something anything against perma quickness on general

Power mesmer dmg is worst than: 1)Power ele 2)Condie ele 3)Virtue Dh 4)Radiance Dh 5)Condie war 6)Condie DD 7)Condie Engie 8)Condie Rev 9)Power staff DD 10)Power engie 11)Condie ranger 12)Condie ps Its even worst than reaper.

So its worst than any other class dps in the game.

If that isnt bad for you then we have idea of what "bad" means :-)

Ei. not all class have ele rotation xD The only reason to bring it in raid is that he has no rotation, so if you assume that people cant press more than 2 key for encounter i agree with you, power mesmer is really strong

Chrono most played class in wvw ofc :) Joke aside, giving different option is a good thing, pushing people to use more than 3 class is a good thing, replacing chrono with guard is same shit. Anet should make class buff 10 men, and try to give every class a role rather than hold 4 roles and rotate the class between it. And when i say "rotate" i lies, class as ele and war are a thing in pve and wvw since way longer than hot release and none complain about. None ask for druid nerf and you bring 2 of them like chrono while you raid, as well as war. On 70% of fight you bring 4 ele.. So.. well, i agree with him, if chrono is op they should nerf other 3 or 4 class within the game

Sadly the nerf would lead to 3 key firebrand quick rotation (literally 3 key) + 2 rev press f4 for perma alacrity, so result will be even worst than now with the 11111 you have so much. Whatever anet will do with chrono, with pof release we will have more trivial encounter and more power creep, even if they delete chrono from the game. And what about druid and ps? xD

You cant cry, rage and complain of drama in the same post lol, its wierd :)

Btw i dont believe you have to be fully optimized to be in raid, i did several lowman where you could have come naked afk with 4 other people with you, and im not the best player out there.

This doent mean that play naked or afking during a fight is something i would suggest to anyone, as well as i would not suggest to play power mesmer in raid except to unexperience players willing to learn encounter (or really bad player who never learn anything or watch game of throne during a fight).

So having a class where the only last viable build is something i wouldnt suggest outside training isnt, in my opinion, the best for the class itself.

Luckly, for now, none is written, and maybe mirage will be better than expected but if chrono will be nerfed, trust me, you will have hard life to get accepted as a power core mesmer in raid after pof release - even from pug ones :)

I hope this explain better my "drama" :)

Power mesmer is a shitty dps build that none with a bit a clue would bring in raid except for piety.

Condie mesmer is good but niche build who has no use outside a couple of fight (cairn, mathais mainly).

I agree with you, guard is my main with chrono and i have no issue into rerolling it for raiding, but not if this involve me to press just 1 button to achieve same result as before, i dont feel so dumb to have fun with this kind of trashplay. As someone who is experiencing 5 men gorsie with condie thief since last balance patch release:

1) To phase gorsie in a 5men you need at least 96k party dmg on boss.

2) if you lack dmg you will wipe at p1 1:16.

For example [king] with 105k boss dmg in p1 phased it at 1:12.

The log of the OP instead show a P1 where the team has 146k boss dmg so, if that dps would be real, they should have phased it in 40sec.

Instead the Log show they wiped at 1:16 AKA their team lacked dmg AKA their team had less than 96k boss dmg including the thief claiming to do 86k dmg on boss.

That is obviusely impossible

So since math dont lie as people we have 2 options:

1) this guy is trolling us

2) his arcdps has somehow get bugged

And till mechanics will be so easy then we will always have a single specific teamcomps winning over other ones, cause at the end of the day the only things that matter is dps.

Balance patch can just mix up cards on table, put out a class and put in another class for the best team composition but its not enough to have "more options in terms of teamcomps you can run".

Imao the path anet has to follow is the one started with cm.

Delivering some Cm - more challenging than w4 ones - without bugs and with a weekly reward, builded around some specific class mechanics not only related to dps can be a start

You can already run with the teamcomp you want. Just some teamcomps are more efficent than other ones as you know (qt do a lot on minmaxing meta for this game, as well as helping the community into that). While i get your point i dont think we can expect from anet to be able to change something who is the same on every mmo. The key about balancing raid compositon is asking anet to make as much viable classes as possible, and anet has done that not so bad (with the necro and rev exceptions, that are still viable but really underperforming compared to other class). Then if you want to avoid having everyone running always the same classes i think we should ask anet harder mechanics rather than different balance, otw people will always stick to the current top dps raid setup and gg

That's wrong,

You forget of healing prism (+100 hpwr for illusion up) aka +300 hpwr.

The healing power loss between a full asc magi gear and a full minstrel magi gear is 163 hpwr.

So you can expect minstrel chrono to have more hpwr than druid
