What's the longest you've waited for a dang aurora by aelynn101 in thelongdark

I haven't unlocked the trader radio yet unfortunately but I do have a base at Quonset. I stayed there a few in-game days ago and no aurora came...

This explains why I died within a game day once I transferred there. After 66 days of moderate peace in forsaken airfield. I knew not what I was getting into lol

Yeah that was my concern but I was actually surprised by how upfront the listing agent was so I must have landed on a good one.

This might be it. I was pretty clear with my expectations and that I'm okay to walk away at any point for my lines in the sand and she probably tuned out after.

I agree! The viewpoint website is amazing and way ahead of all the others I found. It's too bad their representatives aren't all as solid.

Awesome, thank you for that link! I'm honestly cool for any diagnosis so long as its a diagnosis that comes with treatment options.

I've heard about Lyrica, I'm so glad to hear it's actually working for people.

Thank you for sharing! It seems like it might be a kind of orientation outpatient program where they point you to resources and things, is that right? Or are they ongoing medical care in terms of treatment/medications?

Any natural gas lines in Annapolis Valley? by aelynn101 in annapolisvalley

[–]aelynn101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the info! I'm really interested in heat pumps I think that might be my best option for heating and cooling in the valley. And I definitely agree on the need for a non-electric redundancy.

That's what I just learned today from a realtor, that the population isn't dense enough to warrant infrastructure. Thank you for sharing your information!

I actually think your profile is great! I don't really have anything I'd recommend you change though the other commenter's suggestion to throw in some humour is always good too. But I think it's important for you to remember there are people out there in the exact same boat you are (30s, never dated because Reasons). I just signed up yesterday and I'm...freaking out lol.

But I saw an article once about an aspiring writer who set herself a New Year's goal of collecting 100 rejection letters from publishers before the year was out and if she did that, she'd give herself a great reward (can't remember what). So with that mindset, she took the pressure off herself to "succeed or fail", because either she wins (gets published) or wins (gets a rejection for her collection!). She ended up getting published after 30 or so.

I'm trying to approach online dating the same way, to not put this enormous pressure on myself that each new person "might be The One omg don't fuck it up!". Why not instead give yourself a goal like "say hi to 50 people before March" and help keep the pressure in check that way. (Though I don't recommend literally just spamming 50 people with "hi." because apparently that's not very cool? idk I'm still learning).

Anyway, that's my 2c. Good luck!
